We had dinner here last time we where in Santiago and decided to go back this year. The place is still the same and the food is still good. The waiters are very friendly and we no problems communicating with them. You still get lots of extras before they serve your meal!

We came across this restaurant by walking through it from the other side earlier in the evening, and went back for a meal. We both had "Pescado San Marteen" which the menu said was a dish of prawns and salmon on spinach, but when it arrived there was no spinach, but avocado and rice. While we were waiting we were... I was walking round the area close to my hotel and stumbled across this restaurant. I was looking for somewhere to have a coffee and snack. Apparently this place opened in 1946 and is one of the few original restaurants in the city. What a lucky find. The tables were empty but within about 15 minutes had completely filled up... More

This local offers very good coffee with a nice choice of several different cakes and desserts. The choice for lunch menus was also very good and tasty in general. I would just deduct one point for the small main dish.

We happened to walk past this restaurant and decided to have dinner there. It was a very good decision as the meals we had were very, very good! We had the salmon and the chicken and the portions were very generous. Before the meal you get bread rolls and crackers with a relish, also very tasty. The waiter was very... More

I eat at Villa Real at least two times a week. Nice food, nice staff... I suggest to have their "Consume con huevo", very good. Try the deserts

It seemed we walked into a high tea restaurant...however the staff was very accommodating and found us a dinner menu although the restaurant was preparing to close...I ordered the osso buco which was good with ample marrow...we later discovered there was a birthday party going on which explained the happy mood in the restaurant...

I've gone to Villa Real since I was a kid, and recently as I came back to Chile after a long time abroad, I wanted to revisit my childhood memories by going there. Since arrival, I've been there twice. The two times I've asked for vegetarian options and I was told there was an Artichoke pasta. I ask the waiter... More

The Villa Real is one of the oldest tearooms in Santiago. Most of the ones in the center of town have disappeared but the Villa Real has managed to reinvent itself by not only serving traditional teas but also lunches. It is very well situated in Providencia, just set back off Pedro de Valdivia in a space which runs between... More

I came here for a cafe latte and dessert. The service was a little slow at first but polite. It was later in the afternoon so well beyond the lunch rush. The patio is a nicely shaded under the trees as well there is a tented area and indoor dining. But the fact that it is off from the street... More
