The restaurant is simple but the food is very tasty. The price is not high by the standards of Santiago. I liked the ceviche mixto and tacu-tacu.

Deceived by the encouraging reviews I had dinner last night with a friend. The location is charming in fact, a quiet street full of old beautiful european style buildings. The restaurant itself is tiny. Small cute terrace perfect for warm summer nights seemed appealing. We ordered 2 premium catedral Pisco Sours made with top quality peruvian Pisco, wich were a... Pachakama is a terrific little restaurant on a quiet street just half a block from Agenda Providencia. Service is prompt and friendly, and the 10,000 peso Lunch special ("Menu Executive") is a great value, and absolutely delicious. This special (1pm to 4pm) includes a Pisco Sour (as good as any in Peru), an appetizer (an excellent Ceviche or to-die-for Pulpo... More

We spent the equivalent of $55 USD for four drinks, ceviche, tacu-tacu, causa and dessert. We were stuffed. BEST value we've found in Chile. Food quality is good - we recently visited Lima and this is close or better, although a bit more expensive. Menu is extensive and in English and Spanish. Drink menu was inviting. We arrived a Saturday... More

This is a great little Peruvian restaurant. They have a nice little outdoor area on a quiet side street. I've eaten there twice and both times the food came out extremely quickly, so I suggest that you mention to the waiter that you want your food brought out slowly if you do because otherwise you won't have time to eat... This was my favorite spot after eating out for two weeks in Santiago. Once we ordered off the menu. I had lomo salteado and my husband had the salmon. He proclaimed it the best of the trip, including Lastarria. Another time we had the special on the blackboard outside of the restaurant for 22.000 pesos, which was $38 US for... More

If you are looking for something to fall into the "favorite neighborhood restaurant in Providencia" category, this is a top contender. I went to Pachakama, a mostly Peruvian-style food restaurant close to the Manuel Montt metro station, on a Saturday night at 8:30. This, by Santiago standards, is unfashionably early and I had the place almost to myself. Of course... More

Try the pacu pacu main courses. This is a Peruvian rice and beans main course that is very rich in flavor. All the meat dishes are good also. You are able to change the side dish of your main course, so you can try a meat with pacu pacu

The restaurant was an easy walk from our hotel (Chilhotel). We stumbled upon it quite by accident on a Sunday night when everything else was closed. Our dinner for two with pisco sours, appetizers, entrees and desserts was about $40.00 U.S. After a day of frenetic sightseeing, the quiet atmosphere, excellent service and great food were a welcome treat!

I just love this place. It is well located in a very cute area of Santiago, very quiet and it has a nice patio. The service is always excellent which is kind of weird in a country where it does not normally happen. Excellent food, pulpo al olivo, ceviche de cilantro, lomo saltado, fettucini a la huancaina con lomo salted...AMAZING!... More
