This is the best place in downtown Santiago for steaks. Beef is quite good, and they use really premium ingredients for their salads, excellent tomatoes, avocado and heart of palms. The place is a bit noisy, as most steakhouses in any city.
The beef we had at El Novillero was superb. Cooked to perfection, served with seasons vegetables or salad. The wine list is comprehensive, with many top Chilean wines at a competitive price. Don't forget to have a pisco sour as an aperitif.
