Excellent Peruvian food, nice choices, and outstanding service. This time we tried empanadas, Ají de Gallina, and tres leches dessert. The price is quite reasonable. Local in Borde Rio.

PROS: The food was great. I had this pumpkin cazuela that was delicious, however the starter made of: potato, avocado and shrimps was spectacular as should be any peruvian meal. Also the limonada made of lemon, mint and ginger was great. CONS: as usual the waiters in Chile are not as fast as they should be especially in this posh... More

This restaurant regardless which location you go too has a great ambiance! Food wise the best location in my opinion is the one at El Borde Rio in Vitacura. Lomo saltado is probably one of the most famous the delicious dishes on the menu, I definitely recommend that one for fire! Their Cordero is also good and fish as well!... More

We went to El Otro Sitio for a nice family lunch, prepared to pay a little extra given its location, but it was just outrageous. They offered me a vegetarian version of one of their signature meat based dishes. I ended up with a plate of rice, fries and some stir fried mushrooms, with no peruvian (or any distintive) flavor... We came with my husband and our youngest son (24) everything we requested was a testy experience, well prepared (flavours !!!) good size for the dish, it is not easy to impress young people and our son was impressed. The place in borde rio certainly something to visit it is in the Mapocho river side.

we celebrate my mother 80's birthday...and she wanted to eat fish and sea food. El Otro Sitio restaurant was great, we loved the pisco sour with pica lemon, the aji de gallina was delicious, we tried 4 different ceviches. We finished with "suspiro Limeno" as a dessert..it was the best.

Excellent seafood. A little small plates but that's what you get for going to Borde Rio. This is a posh área to go dinner at the posh chilean scene. The menu offers a great array of Peruvian dishes with a focus on fish although other dishes are readily available and tasty.

I have to say I was fortunate I went on a a Sunday night and it was pretty much empty, maybe on weekdays or maybe earlier than 8:30 it would be more crowded, though you can take reservations too. The stuff was very nice, extremely helpful and attentive. Also the food came cute fast (though that might be because of... More
