We ate here on a Sunday night when many other restaurants are closed. The place was busy with foreigners. The prices are exceptionally high. Much higher than in nice sushi places in LA. The sushi was good but I found it a very poor value. I do live in an area that has a sushi restaurant on every corner. Maybe... More

I decided to go to Tanoshii and she had a blast. We focused more in the udon rather than sushi and she had a smile from ear to ear. Couldn't be happier... More

The second time I had to choose dinner I did think of coming back, but reconsidered and actually went for the deli at the same hotel. So maybe once is... More

We are sushi lovers and this restaurant has been one of the best ever. We stayed at the Swissotel and we could order room service directly. Price is around $35 per person

If you have ever had real pizza in Italy, hawaiian pizza is not authentic, but good nonetheless. It's the same with Tanoshii. If you've ever had authentic sushi in Japan, this isn't exactly great. But it is very good nonetheless. The ambiance is lovely. The sushi chef was great. The fare was on the creative side as sushi goes, but... More
