Just came back from this place. We got there at 6:30 pm, after 3 bottles of wine, appetizers and food, they tried to charge us $35 for cover (5 people), even when the show started at 10:30 and we left BECAUSE the bad live band. The place is nice, but they are thieves. Never coming back.

Love it, the food, the ambiance, and the music bands are just great! I love the way the restaurant is decorated, it remains me of some old time romantic jazzy movies. I recommend this place at least one if you happen to visit the beautiful country of Ecuador and Quito, a very charming and elegant colonial time city.

Really cool vibe and place. Did not have music the night we were there. But didn't matter. Food was excellent and service was fun.

Great jazz and other local musicians many nights, good mixed drinks and local Ecuadorian dishes like llapingachos.

From our experience, the guys at the door, would cheat, inventing anything to get a group in, and that stands for inventing fake promos, that won't be applicable, when leaving the place! You can't rely on them, from the people at the door, to the owner. They tricked the group, to over charge us!

Found this place on our last day (unfortunately) and couldn't really frequent it as much as I would have liked. Saw, but didn't try some very appetizing dishes coming from the kitchen. Had a good conversation with the waitress through another expat from Belgium. Seems they don't advertise because all the locals know about it and patronize the place. Little... More

This place is great if you're looking for a distinctive nightlife vibe, with some music, knock back a few drinks, and chill out. However, when it comes to food and service, it was just ok. Nothing to write home about, and perhaps overpriced. Overall, a mixed bag.

We came here because we saw a "little lending library" out in front and then were enticed by the menu to stay. Delicious food. My companion and I split some small plates including empanadas, chicharrones, and cooked habas (fave beans). Server was super nice and decor is cool, localized, but unique.

This is a neighborhood joint with a jazzy vibe. The food is deliciously prepared, and presented with care and creativity. The wine is delicious, and on weekends there is live music. I think we liked it so much (besides the food) because the music they played was jazzy and bluesy. Really a wonderful evening, and we'll be back.
