One of the best restaurant that we visited. Excellent dishes with Peruvian ingredients paired nicely with good wines and drinks. Very good deserts.

This restaurant came highly recommended and it lived up to all the expectations. The dining experience was just as enjoyable as the food. If your in town make a reservation in advance.

I had lunch at the Map and describe it as quite different. Generally, I found the food in Peru not that nice but the Map has given its customers a new and exciting taste.More like a cuisine adventure. Its a modern twist on Peruvian food. Enjoyable yes, expensive yes, ambiance excellent. Should you try it, yes. But this Aussie would rather... More

Mid October 2016, we had made a reservation for late dinner at MAP, but when we arrived quite a large Brazilian group still enjoyed their stay (and speeches given back and fourth). Our waiter (Yuri) asked us if we would wait 10 min at a table in the yard then he would bring us a cocktail on the house. When... More

The setting was incredible, the food was beyond delicious, and the service was unbeatable! Needless to say, a trip to Cusco is not complete without dinner at MAP Cafe in the lovely pre-Columbian museum. I started with a pisco sour, then moved on to a delightful and unusual corn soup/chowder. Not think like chowder but not thin like a broth.... More

I know, a great restaurant in a museum? They do exist. One of my favorites is the restaurant at the Musée Dorsay in Paris. But this is different. Here you come for the food. I was amazed at how good the food is in Peru. But the MAP Cafe was the best. I started with a shrimp soup and for... More

Book a table now!! You can visit the museum (just a few exhibition rooms, maybe spend 20 minutes there) which is part of the Larco museum in Lima prior or after eating. Then enjoy the world class food and service that Peru is renowned for! Amazing choice, local delicacies and 5/5 service. One of the best restaurants in Cusco by... More

The location is already stunning nice. The menu is also stunning. The food is great. The serving is as gentle as it should be. I will go back next Saturday. I'm sure if you like nice food you will enjoy the place.

I was originally sceptical when it was recommended that I eat in this museum cafe, but boy am I glad that did! This was one of the most creative meals I have had in years. The wine list was small but well thought out and reasonably priced. After an amuse bouche I started with a recoto pepper stuffed with slow... More
