Tucked away, down an alley with a few market stalls at the entrance, this Japanese restaurant was a little oasis of calm. Friendly staff and delicious food, would highly recommend it.

we were jet lagged, suffering altitude sickness & needing to keep two young kids (& 4 adults) happy & this cute little restaurant was great! top quality family service, care, lovely food & drink - be careful you don't order too much! such a lovely experience.

Peruvian cuisine is good indeed, but if you feel like changing for a dinner or two, try this really good Japonese restaurant in the heart of Cusco, but beware as most of the dishes are enormous.

This Japanese restaurant is one off the restaurants I like most in the world. Good healthy food with a nice ambient. Good services and good prices. The only thing that might bother you is that sometimes they don't have the complete menu. It doesn't bother me because there are plenty of good dishes on the menu to choose from.

I spent many times un Cusco and I always pass by Plateros street and look at the second story a sing stating "Japanese Vegetarian". In latest years when I often go to the city, the word "Japanese" plus the idea of a restaurant took my attention and finally I decided to get into the restaurant and try the food. Personally... Worth finding, upstairs off an alley way, simple decor, clean toilets (very nice!). Food salad tasty, sushi good - fresh and tasty. Few things not available which is reassuring for freshness. Juice refreshing. Replenished tea throughout the meal. Good find, price reasonable.

Food is good, but don't over order they dont allow you to take it with you!!! They put the warning on the last page that you won't see. We ordered quickly because we got here late, with the intentions of taking the rest home.

My friend and I wanted a light lunch, and being Cusco-born and bred chose this restaurant as the one to go to. The entrance is a little way down an alley full of stall vendors, and immediately you enter you get the feel of the place - Lots of wood, carefully placed Japanese ornaments and pictures, and a sense of... I was very excited for this place, since I really needed a break from South American food and I had been craving Asian food forever, but this didn't quite hit the mark. I had the oyakodon and in all honesty it tasted like it had been made without dashi, and you just can't make Japanese food without dashi. I wouldn't... More
