We discovered this restaurant by accident. Boy, were we lucky! We stayed at Casa Andina Classic while we were in Cusco. We went out the first night looking for a place to eat. This restaurant was literally 100 feet from the hotel. We were very tired that night and didn't want to walk any further, so we decided to give... More

We were lucky to stumble on this little gem of a restaurant tucked away in the San Blas neighbourhood of Cusco. What a treat! The food here is amazing--well worth the rave reviews. The Aji de Gallina is the best we've had in Peru, and the owner is so sweet. Will definitely be heading back.

We went there after reading a lot of great recommendations on tripadvisor, and we were not disappointed. We had fried potatoes with a delicious sauce as a starter and lomo saltado and a quinoa chicken dish as main dishes. All was perfectly cooked and nicely served. The place is really small and it seems more like a living room than... More

It's a very small and warm place. If you want to try Peruvian food this is an amazing option. Everything is fresh , well presented and genuine. All the food is delicious and I can say that this was one of the best place I have eaten in Cuzco. Also the atmosphere make you feel at home and they are... More

this place is a real gem. it's small and cozy, the service very good and everyone's extremely friendly. you can really tell Seledonia knows what she's doing with food: the different options are all well cooked and presented, there's always a touch of a upper level restaurant. for the equivalent of 8 pounds each we had a main, half dessert... We ate dinner here one night and were happy and relaxed. You can tell that the owner has trained her staff to care about the food and the service. We had Aji de Gallina and a cheese quinoa dish and afterwards dulce de quinoa for dessert. All in all, a tasty and satisfying meal. And affordable, too.

We ate in this homely restaurant after reading reviews and were not disappointed! The food is delicious and original, the strawberry chicken was ridiculously good. It was also one of the only places we have eaten in Cuzco that was warm! The family are welcoming and the service faultless, eating in their kitchen/front room is a very enjoyable experience. In... This is a great family run restaurant - it was our first meal in Cusco and we ended up going twice in one day. Lovely food, generous portions and a nice atmosphere. We had alapaca with salad, and Aji de Gallina - all the food was so nice, as well as the drinks. We probably would have gone back again... More

I sought this place out as it has great reviews on TripAdvisor. But I am totally confused as to what people like about this place. The food is bland, incredibly simple, and well over priced. Having just spent a week in Arequipa having menu del dia feeds at a fraction of the cost and more than thrice the flavour I... More

Seledonia's Mesa is the place to be in Cusco if you want a familiar athmosphere and truly excellent local food! Lunch at Selia's (as friends call her) is a sunny and joyful experience in her warm, covered patio. And dining is like being home at a Cusco family, enjoying some of Cusco's finest dishes in a cozy athmosphere.
Cooking classes are part of the experience, too: so you can take Seledonia's wonderful cuisine back home!
