I'm a self-proclaimed ice cream expert - as in, I insist on visiting an ice cream shop or having some sort of ice cream treat in every city I visit on vacations. It's an addiction. El Hada was a bit of a chore to find and when we reached the top of those stairs we were dying a bit (thanks... More

Prices are pretty steep (in comparison to other ice cream places in Cusco) and there isn't a very big selection. That being said, El Hada is good at whatever flavours they churn out -- you get what you pay for. Just one quip is that their ice cream melts way too fast, but their cones are to die for (tastes... Great ice cream, awesome desserts, beautiful spot, great service. It' a tiny little cafe in a small alleyway off the main plaza. It has a little pink flag outside and a fairy letting you know that you've arrived. The decor inside is mystical and really interesting. Prices are fair, a bit steep in comparison to most local spots, but definitely... More

I wish I could go to El Hada every morning. The coffee is incredible and they have the best ice cream you will ever taste. It's a small very friendly place and they also make delicious French toast. A great spot to grab a coffee or a casual bite to eat.

I usually go for plain flavors - which are not options of you are stuck on plain- but the lemon vanilla was delicious! It was our favorite of what we tried and the cone was good !

We read other reviews about the excellent ice cream, so had to try it. Not easy to find as it is tucked up in a small street in San Blas. I tried the caramel ice cream and my friend had the passion fruit ice cream. It had a heavier taste than American ice cream, but it was very good. The... More

We were recommended this shop by Lonely Planet and were not disappointed. Although their ice cream selection isn't vast, it's delicious. The flavors are all extremely rich and smooth. We came back here three days in a row after dinner because we loved it so much. Carmelo and Lemon Pie were my personal favorites. Their homemade lemon and vanilla cones... More

Lovely home made flavours. Brownie was great. Very friendly staff and nice cosy atmosphere. Not a huge selection of ice cream but well worth it. Bit pricey.

Came to check this place out given the great reviews. They only had 4 flavours to choose from. We got to sample before we chose. The flavours were based on Peruvian desserts. I was not impressed with the flavour, partly because I didn't realise it had raisins (weren't any in the sample). Overall it was a bit pricey for unpleasant... More
