Good service, large and tasty portions, very good beer. You can eat really well there and have an idea how real Peruvian cuisine looks and tastes like. not that fancy presentations that you find in those touristic and extremely expensive spots.

With Peruvian food being the best cuisine in the world and Lima the culinary capital of the Americas, competition is fierce but this Gastón Acurio place deserves the superlatives bestowed by locals. Truly exceptional and memorable food (exercise caution with ordering in that portions are enormous) at reasonable prices. We will definitely be back when next in Lima.

We were greeted warmly by the hostess when we arrived, and seated . . . at a very large table for four, near the salad bar, and there were only two of us. We were given menus printed only in Spanish, and waited almost 15 minutes before a waiter arrived. When we asked him to interpret the menu, he said,... More

i arrived in Lima a few days ago and this restaurant is oh so conveniently located near my hotel. The staff recommended it to me and it is an incredible place to eat! I loved it so much the first night that I went back the second....and I can easily see myself returning for a third meal before I leave.... More

We visited the restaurant twice in our recent visit to Lima as there are so many tasty dishes to try. We had the grilled beef heart, octopus, several criolla style stews, chicken and rice...and all were very delicious. Prices are very reasonable for quality and amount of food. Service also highly commendable even though they were very busy.

You need to reserve well in advance. It is worth it. Great quality criollo food. Specializing in grill meats. Artisan beer is also recommend.

This restaurant is a great option to go when first visiting Peru if you want to taste Peruvian creole food. It isn't cheap but it isn't expensive either (between 15-35 Aud per dish) but the portions are big son2 can eat from 1 plate so its a great deal for your money. I have the impression you cannot make reservations... More

You will need to book ahead or go early, this restaurant is very popular. Have been a number of times.. Food is well presented and well cooked, Peruvian dishes are excellent and the bread and salads are freshly prepared. Fairly expensive, but you are paying for good service, attentive staff and great atmosphere, well worth it.

We had dinner here and shared spring rolls (best ever) and a beef stew. Excellent meal but far too much for one person. Sharing them worked perfectly and we ordered a small (3) portion of Peruvian donuts? for dessert. O e of our best meals in Peru.

You've heard of the Pisco Sour of Peru, this place had the best we've tasted in over a month. But beyond that, the BEST Octopus I've ever had, in my whole life. I don't know what they did to create such incredible flavors, supple texture, and rich sauce. But they've got it DOWN! Their parent restaurant apparently has a 2-4... More
