I loved the ceviches and the rice with seafood. Nice ambient and staff, it requires reservation. I'll go again next time.

We enjoyed the very fresh ceviche but not quite excellent as the marinade was a bit bland. Baked scallops was very good. We also tried the deep fried sea urchin which sounded very special but was a mistake as frying completely ruined the seafood. The sea urchin literally became very tiny pieces of crunch with no sea urchin taste at... More

If this had been my first Peruvian ceviche experience, I might have been impressed. But I came here with sky high expectations from two excellent places in Arequipa. Service was rushed, and the ceviche on my plate was double the price and half the amount compared to the Arequipa places, and hardly better. This is clearly a place for tourists... More

El Mercado was the bomb! Pisco sours were delicious. Tried several types of cerviche and all were excellent. Fantastic melding of outdoor setting with many indoor features. Very cosmopolitan crowd. Seafood was fresh and well prepared.

Before I tell you great things about this restaurant, kudos to our great waitress named Sandy Levano. We started with an arrangement of scallops in their shells, they were fresh and delicious. I had a delicious chita(fish) with veggies. And for dessert I had a plate of picarones. Great visit, great food, and great service.

Amazing place. Hard to get a table but it is worth it. Pulpo mixto al oliva and Tiradito Sugoi where my choices. But the pulpo grillado looks sooo goood!

Local favorite for ceviche at lunch in Miraflores. Our hotel manager recommended El Mercado for lunch. It is outstanding. Offering wide array of ceviche and other seafoods in patio setting. Open only for lunch.
