Bad service, food nothing especial and very expensive for what you get. They didn't have electricity, probably that affected everything.

The location and view are really something special. The place is cosy and service is Ok, as the food service is nothing special.

Admitted - La Rana Verde is one of my favourite restaurants in Lima. Located in the quiet neighbourhood of La Punta, just at the sea - with many local guests coming for a great lunch (which is a good sign of its quality). The place has a lot of authenticity, Same menu´s, same staff - time stands still, and that... More

Well this was my second visit in Lima and second time to this tiny hidden place. Definitely a genuine small local place. I really like the location, literally a feet above the water. The food is not his super special but very honest fish plate. Definitely a place to try.

This is a treasure hunt in the making. The place is located behind the rowing club. After picking our way through the boats and jet skis, we entered the open air dining place. Service is excellent and the food is the same. Suggest the scallops, but all the dishes we had were excellent. Great local place!

Tucked behind a rowing club, very simple place built out over the water. It has a small room and the larger one is divided into two areas - closer to the water and inside. Try to get in these section near the water with the view but not right up against the window as it gets hot and sunny. Fun... More

Was taken here by a local business partner who know the area very well. I love the rustic feel of this place with its open air feeling literally over the water. Views of the port as well moored boats in the harbor. Had the Parmesan Scallops and Ceviche. Food was not the best in the Lima area, but certainly was... More

One of the front desk staff at our Miraflores hotel recommended La Rana Verde as an excellent seafood restaurant in Callao. Our group of 4 had lunch there, eating ceviche followed by various fish entrees. The seafood was indeed fresh, and the dishes tasty. It was not superb, but quite good, and this clearly is a popular choice for locals.... More

This is the place I like, real local hidden place. Not fancy at all, very original and hard to find. Do not expect a 5 star restaurant, but eating so close to the water cannot be beaten. Food is really good and fresh, service is original. The all area is nice for a walk. If you like original places this... More
