The food was good and relatively good price. The cebiche was delicious but served without sweet potato. The service was really bad. The waiter had bad attitude (maybe because they have 2 for the whole place). We were 7 and it took them 10 minutes to understand that we wanted to join 2 tables as for them it was impossible.... The service was fast and nice although the food was not good at all. I wasn't able to finish my meal.

Just off the plaza, excellent service and friendly staff in a chilled atmosphere, not sure if they speak English.....I didn't try. Coffee was good (con leche), chicha too, desserts look lovely, and the almeurzas, though I didn't try one, must be good considering the amount of locals filling the cafe daily.

This is a quite antique local family restaurant which is especially famous for its lunch menu. Its not fancy but nice food for a good value. For around 13 soles you get a first or dessert and a main plate of typical Peruvian home cooked food. Good quality, fresh ingredients in a nice ambience. They also offer a variety of... More

After a friend highly recommended this little place in Baranco we took a long walk to get there and arrived HUNGRY. We had a short wait and then sat down to order. We ordered three platos al fundo and a Papa Rellena for the kids to share. Everyone´s plate was served except mine and so I kept waiting and waiting... More

If you want cheap, quick and delicious food, this is the place. If you are staying in Barranco this is a must. The only thing is that you need to save room for dessert! We ate here for lunch and dinner. Loved it!

Sopa criolla, escabeche de pollo y de pescado, estofado de pollo. The prices are very inexpensive and they have a good offer o sweets options. Located in Av. Grau in Barranco, Lima. Easy to get there, close to the main square/park of Barranco.

Had a very nice lunch here. They have 2 daily almuerzo lunches for 12.5 soles. Plus an extensive menu from which one can order. Those prices were reasonable as well.

We went to Las Mesitas one evening as we just wanted a simple dinner somewhere within walking distance. This is an attractive little restaurant, more like a cafe, retro decor with patterned tile floors, little tables with round marble tops, and dark wood paneling. The menu is extensive, inexpensive and non pretentious. It's also a great place to have just... More

This is not gourmet, but good, reasonely priced food for the everyday dinners and lunches. Some of the desserts/cakes are really good, but try the Suspiro de Limeña elsewhere.
