Great atmosphere! Portions are pretty big, which is common in Peru. Live music and great service. A nice, classy spot. Catered to tourists without being touristy

Great dinner for a large group. We had a private room in the back that was a really nice. Food was good. Value was very good. We had 6 kids with us aged 11-15 and there would good food options available for them.

Stop there for lunch after coming back from Machu Picchu and it was an excellent choice ! The food is great, we had pesto pastas, chicken sandwich and quiche, all extremely tasty. Also, they serve nice draft beers. They have many plugs on every tables to charge your electrical devices ! It is located right on the train tracks so... More

The ambience is adorable along the train tracks and the service is quality, a bit of a surprise in this tourist town. For 3 soles you can take a bike taxi down the hill to the restaurant, but be sure to make a reservation for dinner. The head chef visited us personally, explaining how the food here comes directly from... More

The best organic salads we ate in our week in Peru were enjoyed in this restaurant in the tiny town of Ollantaytambo, on the way to MacchuPicchu. The mound of several kinds of baby lettuce, arugula, beet greens, tomatos, all topped by fresh flower petals such as borage and calendula, was a delight to see and to taste. You could... More

Right at the train station where trains leave for Machu Picchu. We enjoyed the lamb and the alpaca. Good wine selection.

Stayed at El Albergue for 2 nights. Thought we would eat at the hotel the first night and in town the second night. The food was so extraordinary that we ate both nights at the restaurant. Salads were fresh, local greens and inspired. My daughter thought the beet and goat cheese salad was the best she ever had, The homemade... More

Ate breakfast here everyday, lunch twice, and dinner twice so you could say it was our favorite! Breakfast was pancakes with local honey, excellent coffee! Lunch was fresh garden veggies with homemade hummus from their gorgeous garden adjacent to the hotel. Alpaca burgers, The freshest salads, everything homemade. Dinner was homemade pasta with homemade garden pesto with fresh roasted trout... More

We stayed at the hotel and was pleased with all the meals we had at the restaurant. It is not a fancy restaurant but the food quality is very much commensurate with the cost. The alpaca appetizer was cooked just right, i.e. not overdone or drenched with sauce that we had in Cusco, and the quinoa arugula salad was also... More
