I wanted to sit in the terrace outside but was full, so the rude hostess sent us upstairs, device afterwords was ok Food, not the best place to eat a steak but was eatable Good wine and good desserts

Creamy, greasy, saturated, unhealthy restaurant. I felt like if I was at an American Diner, paying fine dinning prices. Not recommended.

We loved our dinner at La Perdiz. Upscale pub atmosphere with candlelit wooden tables, friendly and prompt service, pumping yet sophisticated atmosphere and delicious food - made for a heady and moreish combination. The place is clearly very popular with both tourists and locals. Always more or less full, it gives off a cosy, happy vibe that draws you in... More

Our guide in Montevideo recommended this as a reliable option for dining, with lots of choice besides the ubiquitous parilla. We both ate fish (cod and salmon), although we could see the meats being grilled and they looked good, too. Our food was well cooked and delicious. Service was friendly, despite our lack of Spanish, and very efficient. Most of... More

The food at La Perdiz is excellent. We tried the meats and the seafood entrees, the pasta and the salads - all great. The service however was inconsistent. The first time we had a great waitress - very responsive and quickly took our order and got us anything we needed. We went back another time and the service was spotty... More

I had to two problems with this place. The first one was the quality of the steak ... It wasn't so good for the price. If I compare this with other restaurant in Argentina the relation between price and quality is really bad in this restaurant. For other hand the tables in the outside had a really bad quality... I... Great place! Always filled with people. And the food is always on point and really good. It's a nice place to go with family and friends. Many foreigners like to go and it really makes a good atmosphere :), ps: the apple pie is great!!

If you like great steak this is the place for you. We always go with a crowd and we go early to make sure we get a seat. Inside or out the atmosphere is great. Especially if there is a local football (soccer) game on. Staff are very good and speak English if you need them too.

Our friends who live in Montevideo took us to this restaurant on our first night in Uruguay. We had a reservation for a Thursday night at 7:30 which is early for locals to eat. The service was really good and friendly. The food was good, nothing fancy but we were very satisfied. It is walking distance from the BIT Hotel.... More
