i recommend for night, even though is open for lunch, is one of the best place in Montevideo, international an local food, but i recommend meat, fish & sushi, could be overpriced compared with other counties, but not with Uruguay prizes

Visited this for sushi with friends. Sushi is fresh and tasty. A bit expensive though for the area and what you get. Service is nice and restaurant is very clean and professional. Greatly situated in the Carasco area.

A classic in Carrasco, Montevideo. Reason ? I don´t know... I found the food was very good , yes... overpriced by far! The wine list is absurdly overpriced. Atmosphere is good but extremely dark, to the point that it is no longer romantic nor is it relaxing but on the contrary it becomes uncomfortable. One of the pleasures of dining... More

A classic from Carrasco neighbourhood, Cafe Misterio is nice for a celebration night of some sort that could justify spending so much money for so little food. Still, it was nice and tasty and the service was ok.

Went here with friends and had a great time. Both seafood and meat was good and the wine that accompanied it excellent.

I have been twice and have enjoyed my lunch both times but it is an expensive restaurant so be aware. It is not an expansive menu but what they have is tasty.

This is a very popular restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating. The service is first class and they have staff who can speak English. The food is excellent and very well presented, especially the baked salmon on capers and onions which was delicious. They have an good wine list and both local and imported brands.

The pros: open earlier than many restaurants, lots of seating, nice atmosphere, very helpful and attentive waitress. The food was pretty good. We all got something we liked, but no one was crazy about any of the dishes. The menu online is deceptive- makes it look like gourmet Asian. It's really an international blend with all sorts of dishes, none... More

Despite being a pleasant restaurant with good service, the green chicken curry I ordered was so salty it was inedible. They promised to do a new dish but when it came it was obvious that it was the same food, watered down to reduce the saltiness and then thickened. I ate it so as not to spoil the evening for...
