This large cafe has a great location over looking the main square in Zagreb and is a good spot to sit in the morning sunshine and watch the world go by. Unfortunately the regular staff are very miserable when it comes to foreigners and make no effort to help you, they spoil what could be a great place as the coffee... More

Nice coffee after long time. I missed a nice cappuccino in England and I had it in Mala Kavana. Great location. In the middle of the square. Although previous critics I ve read were talking about bad service ... I have to say that service was excellent. Quick and polite. I do believe that probably depends of the personnel that... More

We went here twice to enjoy coffee and get out of the cold weather. Each time was a great experience and the staff was very nice and welcoming. Thank you

We have been to this place a few times, usually every time we visit the main square. Lovely decor, with a note of history and cordial staff. Good Croatian coffee, and cake, albeit a tad more expensive than other places. Quite and calm vibe are nice for a relaxing cup of warm beverage.

This open garden on the main square is ideal place for testing your patience. Old man is self-sufficient with serving. You can sit in a corner and wait. He is serving some people near the entrance of the place. He can look at some other directions as far as he wants. You can wave to him and wait. You can... More

Great location, but this is where it ends. Service is horrible, we sat there for 30 min and after asking to order twice nothing we got a bad attitude, and the place was completely empty.

This was our group's first meal after arrival in Zagreb. By then it was late afternoon and there were few people in the restaurant. I had a delicious gnocchi with Gorgonzola sauce, and others enjoyed what they had.

I was searching for a lunch restaurant, when I saw this one at Trg Josipa Jelacica and went in. I took today’s lunch and it was really tasty with a local beer. Nice staff.

Located at the central square Trg Bana Jelačića, it is a nice pit-stop with friendly staff. It is good for rain and sunshine and having indoor and outdoor seating. Great for crowd watching.
