Let me start with the good part. Some of the food they make is simply incredible and delicious, but unfortunately this is a gamble as some of the food just plain (even worse than in fast-foods). The ribs were fantastic (both types), the chinese chicken (with vegetables), lamb (with onion) and beef (with bamboo) was excellent (especially the beef). Not... More

On weekdays between 12-3 there is an all you caneat buffet. There were about 8 entrees. Price was only about $7.50 per person. Nice modern interior. Pleasant wait staff. Only problem could be lack of parking in area. This is in sector 3. I would definitely go there again!

They have a daily lunch offer (all you can eat for 23 RON) so if you happen to be in the area, make sure you stop by. The food is very tasty, service is ok and the venue looks good.

I highly recommend deep fried ice cream! It simply delicious!! Also I recommend the rice "Yang Zhou" (has ham, vegetables and egg). The service is great and the food is high-quality! If you want to try some real chinese food, you must come here.

I wasn't expecting much in terms of Chinese food in Bucharest. I was pleasantly surprised though by the food here. The restaurant itself has a minimalist setting, the service is ok, the food is good - not the best I've had, but then again, better than many dishes from other Chinese restaurants.

I'm a fan of Chinese food, in fact all Asian food, and I've tried plenty of offerings over the years. One of my preferred spots to eat Chinese is at Tao for a variety of reasons: friendly service, nice surroundings, but the food (at reasonable prices) is what stands out. We are pretty loyal fans of the spicy tofu (beware... More

It was an all you can eat Chinese place. The atmosphere was vey chic and very clean. The food was great, it tasted like a Romanian version of the Chinese food I'm used to, but it was still delicious. Very fresh. I think it was 23 lei for all you can eat. The choices are a bit limited, but I... More

Apart from the deserts, the normal crispy style associated with Chinese style is not evident here. They ought to change their oil more regularly. Crispy duck comes out nearly black to get it crispy and most other offerings are below par. Don't be fooled by the exotic menu that you order the day before. We ordered a special duck recipe... We went back to Tao after an extended absence and were happy to find it's as good or better than before. Everything is prepared to order and comes steaming and flavourful to the table and the service is efficient and friendly. We enjoyed the selections and have discovered their crispy calamari is some of the best we;ve tried around town.... More
