It is one of the best places to eat and spend time in Bucharest. The atmosphere there is great as if you go back in time, about 1927 when everything was better, greater and nicer.

Caru' cu Bere is always a location where you can invite friends to spend an evening together. Picturesque location, renovated, with stained glass windows that give color to this special place and remember the atmosphere of Bucharest the other day. Music gave color to the evening, a night which certainly will not be forgotten soon. The recommendations made by the... More

The best place to eat in Bucharest. Not for tourists only, unlike other center restaurants. Big portions grest taste. I regretted not having lunch there every day of my stay. Dish with slow cooked veil just amazing. The atmosphere is something alse in this historic Austrian style room.

Excellent location, recently renovated; a pub with a nice history in the background Some nice (traditional or not) shows during lunch/dinner time, but sometimes very loudly... (avoid if you plan a lot of chats)... Realy poor food for such a location, highly expensive Service can be greatly improved (long waits, misunderstandings etc); still it's a "must see" place in Bucharest;... More

Although is touristic, they don't compromise on the quality of food. The food is traditional and tasty and is typically accompanied by traditional shows . The location / building is inspiring and worth visiting.

It's a place where the past party with the present. Traditional music values, specific architecture, dedicated chefs...All in all, it's the place to have fun, to feel like home or close to it, to eat delicious food and to feel the holiday spirit no matter what the day would be.

We ate there few months ago, this year. Food was good but not delicious I expected. The atmosphere was fine, but for me it was too crowded. Because of that I felt like the waiter couldn't have time to treat us as we like.

I have been here second time. First time 6 years ago and now. The level, the service unchangeable really high level. Book table, because crowed always. The pork knuckle is the best, with crispy skin. Nice internal view, furnishing. Live music and dance, very good mood. I offer it to everyone!
