Cozy restaurant in the hearth of Belgrade

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Belgrade. Visited many times on both private an business purposes. The food and service were always on the highest level. I believe this is the most important thing about a restaurant - keeping and upgrading already perfect service each year. The restaurant itself isn't very big, but is very stylish with very interesting closed terraces that give certain privacy. Everything is super clean and the food is served quite quickly. Prices are quite higher than the average, but believe me, it is worth it. To sum it up, if you want to have tasty food accompanied with perfect service, with a little bit of privacy, look no more, this is the perfect place in Belgrade.

Update, after a few years...

It has been years since I wrote a review of this restaurant while I continued to spend good times at it. It's time for a update. Honestly, still impressed and I can only agree with my previous review. It is still the same mastery in the kitchen, delivering a mix of own unpretentious modernization of national dishes as well as bold and tasteful interpretations of foreign dishes. Larger selection of wines to increase the enjoyment of the ordered dishes. If you are in a dilemma, just ask and competent staff will help you with the choice. Personally, I would like to suggest prokupac (an autochthonous Serbian red grape) or white tamjanika (white wines with intense fruit aroma and taste) depending on the dish of course. The cozy atmosphere and always friendly staff take you away from the noise of the city from the moment you enter the restaurant. Whether it's lunch or dinner, alone, with family or friends... It feels like "moj Beograd" (ask the staff for translation) if I dare say so. Or Belgrade I miss. A few visits are enough and you are spoiled. Then it becomes difficult to even think of another place to eat in Belgrade.

Delicious food

A small, cozy restaurant serving European and French cuisine in a classy ambiance. Food is very delicious and presented carefully. Service provided by the staff was okish, but could certainly be friendlier. It's not a cheap place but well worth a try. Recommend.

Come for the food, stay for the atmosphere

Very nice little restaurant next to the Nikola Tesla museum. Highly recommended before/after your visit to the museum! Beautiful decor, great food, friendly customer service and chill jazz ambience music.

fantastic food and quality service

we ordered cheese, steak and carpacio. It was delivious. Carpacio was little cold but mayeb it was supposed to be. Service and food was great. There is also nearby Tesla museum and Saint Sava Cathedral is also close.

Nice restaurant in Belgrade

Excellent international restaurant with a great atmosphere and a huge selection of wines. We were here for dinner, the food was excellent - I especially want to note cevapici with cream. I definitely recommend it.

Dear Ibrahim, Table charge includes bread and butter, napkins and everything else at the table which is 0,8 cent per person (99rsd). Also, again, we apologize for not changing all the food at the table, but after we examined the situation we found out that you ordered one of the most expensive dishes: turkey breast with truffle sauce (the most expensive mushrooms in the world) 3 times and wanted to change all of that once it was served at the table (one change happened because of the mushroom allergies). We apologize again and we hope you’ll try to understand the situation from both sides!

Good quality food, nice place.

This restaurant is always busy and the food and wine are of good quality. I think it is a little over priced and not all the dishes are equally good. In total I have been more than four times. But I keep going back. The starters are good as are the salad meals and the desserts. If you are looking for something a little bit less heavy than typically Serbian cuisine, this is the place for you. Also, good quality dishes available if you are on the Orthodox fast.

A wonderful place...

This is a jewel of Belgrade. A very cozy and relaxing elegant atmosphere, excellent central location, great menu and tastes, even lighting and music are matched perfectly. Service could be better in terms of smiling and friendliness but it is effective and fast. Would go there again, no doubt. PS don't leave with tasting the tiramisu, small but exquisite.

This restaurant has been attracting clientele for many decades. It is stylish, with great decor, excellent service and interesting menu (ask always for the speciality of the day). There is also an ample choice of good wines.

A very nice restaurant

A really beautiful little place with good food. The menu is a mix with that slightly swings towards the French. Decent wine list. Nice staff. Well worth a stop.

Excellent Quality Lunch

From the private selection of eau de vie (go for the grape lozo) to quality salads, main courses (fish and veal) , this restaurant is a local treat. Enjoyable surroundings and a sense of old Europe. Reserve a window table if you can.

Standard still great!

It had been a few years since I was last there. This time I managed 2 visits. On both occasions the meal was delicious. The Serbian wine by the glass was excellent. The ambience of the restaurant is great when you see the busy traffic outside,, it seems like another world. The service was very good as I found on previous visits. I regard this restaurant as one oF the real treats in BELGRADE, a must if you like good food and fine wine.

This is very traditional,elegant, cozy restaurant in the heart of Belgrade. I should say this is a place for sophisticated people and connaisseurs of fine dining. The meals and beverages are of the very best quality and the choice of wines is superior. I recommend Serbian wines from small Serbian wineries.

Hidden gem

We randomly bumped into this place while waiting to visit the Tesla museum. We had a quick meal but we were pleasantly surprised. Very nice staff and good meal. Worth eating here.
