Business visitor group. Good atmosphere. Good service. Food was good but definitely overpriced relative to other good Panama restaurants. Good for quiet dinner.

Angel is one of the most traditional spanish food restaurants in Panama city ,owned by its chef ,Don Angel himself who tries attending to the needs and gastronomical desires of each table . His pulpo a la gallega ( octopus spanish style ) is superb as well as the cooked muscles . Various alternatives of Fresh fish are always available... More

Good food, not the best you've ever tried. Service is really bad so be patient. For the price I'd had expected something better. However food might save the day.

My favorite food in Panama is pulpo (grilled octopus) so the local families typically suggest a restaurant that offers this dish. Angel was without question the best restaurant I've been to in Panama City, from the food to the atmosphere to the service!

We were a group of 12 came for a gathering and family re-union. The starters were very peculiar tasteful seafood choices. I haven't seen that back in Europe. Main dishes were never disappointing. Our taste buds were dancing Flamingo out of joy! The service was amazing. I was not surprised with overall great experience when I realised the chef is... More

We met there with another couple, which knew Angel. Service anf food was good, but the prices are overranged (compared with Restaurants like "Casa de Marisco" or "Siete Mares" and some others.

We had grouper and red snapper that were cooked to perfection. The bread and butter were also in high quality. We had no complaints at all on food. The ambiance was nice too. The price; however, was away too high, and the service did not match for the price I paid. We had to sit for 10 extra minutes until... More

It's 2nd visit, and enjoyed more than first. This time, we took seafoods as apetizer, then main was grilled piglet that is here's recommendation. Squid with its ink's fried rice was great also. Atmosphere is high stylish. Recommendable.

Trying for a traditional Spanish ambience. I found it pretentious and over-priced. (Though perhaps my view coloured by having spent time in Madrid recently).I suspect that it is the sort of place to go if trying to show off to your invitees. There seemed an excess of waiting staff, who hovered around, too obtrusively. My starter was champinones with jamon... More
