Samuel's was a smash hit for our multi-generational birthday brunch. The food and service were top notch and the $24/person cost was a value given the quantity and quality of the food. The room is quite nice and the ambiance was quiet and upscale. We will be back!

We were here for dinner on Christmas Eve. Perfect place for the season. Nicely decorated and quiet. Most off the students at Phillips Academy were away for the holidays. The service was excellent and the food was wonderful. Reservations are a must. The only thing missing was the lack of falling snow outside which would have made it a Hallmark... More

We stumbled on this by accident, almost and were glad we did. It's on the Phillips Andover Academy grounds, but is a fully public restaurant. The menu was pretty standard high-end lunch food, the prices were reasonable, and everything was good.

Whether it's the entrée selection, entrée quality, wine list, or the service, It's all "up to par" The filet mignon was perfect, the baked haddock was also.

Was there for lunch after a funeral. The buffet had a good selection of well prepared items. I checked out the dinner menu. Looks good but kinda price. Of course this is Andover and the Andover Inn has always been a good restaurant so I expect it's worth it.

The 7 of us had good dinners, but the bill listed 8 meals and five meals were charged $2 more than the listed price.

4 of us went for supper. It was busy....the room can get pretty noisy. We found it annoying. The steak was good, the chicken was tough and lacked flavour. The pork chop was rather hard and a bit bland. We expected better quality overall. Would I go back...if I had to.

On a beautiful Summer afternoon, go to the Andover Inn (Samuel's Restaurant) and sit outside on their porch for a very relaxing lunch. You might also visit on a Sunday for an excellent Brunch inside.

For lunch, at least, the atmosphere is enjoyably calm, as is the setting on this private school campus. The food is decent, especially the burgers which are actually quite good. Sometimes the service is slow although the staff has always been helpful and personable.

Arrived later than expected at Andover Inn and we decided to try Samuel's for dinner. What a fantastic surprise it turned out to be! All four of us were pleased with the service from start to finish and the quality of the food was excellent. The Haddock coated in cracker crumbs was very fresh and flavorful and the chicken was...
