The Luncheonette has by far the best selection of breakfast, brunch, lunch recipes around. Oatmeal is a major mark of distinction for a brunch place just as soup is to a French restaurant. Luncheonette oatmeal is excellent and has all the bells and whistles. Of course the egg dishes and exotic creations keep everyone coming back. It's a always the... More

One of our faves for breakfast. Always a line out front. Heat new healthy menu in addition to traditional diner breakfast fare.

Met a friend for breakfast here. It is a busy place, but we were there around 10 on a weekday, and did not have to wait. I had checked this restaurant out for gluten free items due to being celiac. They have GF bread, pancakes and scones. I asked that the bread be made separately from the other bread, and... More

Had high hopes for this place but nothing really lived up to it. Food was very much medicore with aspirations of being much better. There aren't a ton of breakfast options in Andover so this is still probably one of the best bets locally.

Great little place. My go to spot on a Sunday morning. If you don't mind waiting for a seat, it's a small place and fills up quick, then I recommend it. Staff is great, food is always good.

I have been to the Shawsheen Luncheonette twice, once for breakfast and once for lunch. The food is worth waiting in line for, although I was able to grab a chair at the bar without waiting. Their menu provides a variety of choices for all tastes and ranges from hearty and heavy to healthy organic. The portions are generous and... More

Shawsheen luncheonette is one of those go to places for a hearty omelette or a stack of pancakes. It's super casual, small and the breakfast is diner style. it's simple, hearty and the prices are reasonable. Gets very crowded very quickly so get there early or be prepared to wait often outside for a seat. Open kitchen with a counter... More

I really can't think of any better place for breakfast. Place is often "very busy". 2 eggs over easy-perfect. Shredded Hash Browns (not a fan of "home fries"-but they have them.) - perfect. Bacon "chewy" - perfect. Nice, thick, perfectly toasted wheat bread. Great coffee, service and staff. Well worth a drive from Haverhill. Can't wait to try something off... More
