We usually come here for lunch, but decided to try coming for dinner. The bar area with high tables was full, but we sat outside in the small outdoor area. We were cozy sitting by the outdoor heaters. The wait staff were terrific without being intrusive. We had a bottle of wine before sharing the beet salad. We each had... More

Great place for a quick bite to eat - not a lot of tables to eat in, but always good for take-out. Local students like quality, selection, price and ease for healthier than fast food option.

We are always searching for a great hometown eatery. By far the best Italian food around. Last year they added a outdoor eating area which is very cool. Be sure to visit and ask for Paul the owner, tell him what you think. We did!

Went here because of reviews. Discovered it's mostly a take-out place with a few tables and seats. Order at the counter, but they'll serve you at a table if dinning in, like us. The food is amazing. All sorts of Italian specialties. From overstuffed sandwiches to hot dinner items. Very accommodating. I had the Angry Sicilian based on all the... More

I asked my sister if she wanted to grab a drink with my father and I on a beautiful afternoon and she suggested LaRosa's I was skeptical because I thought it was a deli/prepared foods place. I was pleasantly surprised to find a beautiful bar and outdoor alley patio reminiscent of the North End. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. My... More

All in all LaRosa's is a great place for sandwiches/salads for lunch. The menu is pretty well done and the flavors mostly work quite well. My biggest complain is they tend to over toast their sandwich bread and we've had probably 3-4 orders with some form of burned bread, and once one of the arancini. For how many times we've... More

The food is always fresh and tastey! The angry scicillian is my favorite sandwich! We always get take out but will eat inside before the winter is over. They have a great little bar and when the weather is nice you can dine al fresco! Their meatballs are delicious as well! It's always nice and clean!

This was my first visit to their new bar. Didn't even realize it was there until a friend invited me. They annexed space to the right of their restaurant which is enough for a reasonably sized bar (15 stools?) and 4-6 high top tables. Good beers on tap, no bottles. Mixed drinks. Bar food.

This place has a deli area with seating and a separate bar area. Both have very friendly staff. Excellent service. Menu is very creative, including clear Italian influence. Good selection of wines and beers. There's also a heated patio area out back. Perhaps the least pretentious, most relaxed place in Andover. I don't know who owns it, but it doesn't... More

Constant Companion and I were in Andover to again visit the Addison Gallery of American Art. After reading the TA reviews we decided to also have lunch at LaRosa's. Upon entering we were immediately impressed by the quality and the number of offerings as well as by the number of folks taking out and dining in. LaRosa's is one the... More
