Ventuno is an island restaurant inspired by the frascas of Italy, small farmhouses which opened themselves up to friends and neighbors with wine and homemade food. Executive Chefs Gabriel Frasca and Amanda Lydon, with Chef De Cuisine Andrea Solimeo, delight in imagining Nantucket shellfish, fish and produce in Italian hands. House-cut pasta and simple takes on the bounty of sea and land are complemented by a carefully curated Italian wine list. Drink and eat our entire menu on either dining room floor or bar, or the open-air back bar, with comfortable service and the inviting breeze of the ocean.
It was too bad we ate on an unusual cold Sept evening - we were too cold to sit outside (no indoor dining option yet) and we rushed through our food. Loved the risotto balls - 2 large per order was unexpected! The entrees were...More
Yes it has become more difficult in this time of the pandemic. Yes I try to have a more tolerance attitude about bad food and service and give larger tips. At the prices Ventuno charges for take out though I expect much more. A whole...More
A really great and fun spot right downtown. The menu is outstanding and the service is excellent. Outside dining on the porch or in their “piazza.” We had the burrata which was excellent. The chicken was wonderful as was the fried risotto ball. This is...More

Visited on a Sat night early in the off season was really impressed with the staff, food and vibe. Server was great and made thoughtful suggestions. Handmade pasta was delicious, scallop crude was fresh and tasty. The pork on bone special was cooked just right...More
Booked a table early for an end of season Saturday night while wondering what the menu might offer - standard Italian fare? I picked local fish of the day, tautog, and my wife picked lamb. Not a bit of pasta or red sauce anywhere (which...More
Nice place either inside or outside to get a drink and socialize with friends and make some new friends. Usually busy yet worth it. Fun place and staff is good.
We had a wonderful meal inside this old house in Nantucket (we walked by it at first, because it looks just like an old home). Our waitress was a true professional and quite gracious. Food was good and drinks were better. Highly recommended.
Second time I've been here, with several years in between visits. Problems with the cooking first time, and again this time. But it's not all bad - many of the other things we got were fine. I just ordered pasta with a homemade fresh tomato...More
