Good place. We enjoyed this restaurant. Basement dining room was cool. Ceasar salad to start was very good. Had a special of Mahi Mahi. I enjoyed it but the portion was too small. Maybe it’s the Covid weight gain catching up on me. Service was...More

Great food and service: must get the souffle for dessert! It was obviously a go to spot for regulars... older crowd for sure. Drinks and food were tasty and a great wine slection.

We are staying at this fabulous inn and had an extraordinary anniversary dinner here. The wine selections are fairly priced. The food is truly high level. The impeccably fresh ingredients, the service, the well spaced tables, all make for a perfect evening. Highly, highly recommended.

Reservations are difficult to land at the Ships Inn, but we wanted to visit this historic place which is at the site of Lucretia Mott's (the famous abolitionist and women's rights activists) home. We opted for pre-dinner drinks at the bar under the Inn. What...More

Ships Inn is touted to be one of the better restaurants in Nantucket (according to a couple people we talked to) however we thought the swordfish was disappointingly thin and small and the salmon appetizer was meager for the price. The salmon entree was very...More

It's worth having a dinner here once because it's lovely and service is wonderful. The food is good, but not interesting enough for the foodies.

I would not recommend this place for children- it is upscale and has a quiet ambience. I don't think your child would enjoy it.
