I can get tiered of going back to eat at santo Domingo, other than their main restaurant, they have a fantastic sushi bar, one of the best black bean soups anywhere....the ambiance is romantic, and the fusion that chef Campollo delivers deserves a bunch of TENEDORES....the duck is marvelous!!!!!!

We're glad to know you don't get tired of eating at El Refectorio. In your next visit, we suggest you try different flavours of our kitchen with the "tasting menu" - a good choice for two. More

I came here for a little dessert and was not disappointed. This is a beautiful hotel with lots to see. The desserts were unique and so good. You must go!

Set in a historic Dominican Friar monastery, this is near tops for historic dining environment. Almost 500 years of history, dating from when the Dominican monks arrived in Guatemala, this building is absolutely spectacular. With hanging gardens, stone arches, all tastefully lit and updated with modern amenities. The food is great as well. Everyone in our party said their plates... More

I was at Casa Domingo this week with two other friends. I have never given a bad review but had no choice a we were so disappointed. I ordered the salmon, the others ordered sushi and a shrimp salad. I will only comment on my dish. The salmon came out atop a medley of veggies. When it arrived, there was... More

Thank you very much for sharing your comment. We are very sorry to learn that your dining experience didn’t meet your expectations and mostly, not having known of this immediatly in order to solve the problem. The salmon (as detailed in the menu) is served with cilantro purée, baby carrots and reduced apple-orange-vanilla sauce which definitly wasn't a good choice... More

This is the restaurant associated with the Hotel-Muso Casa Santo Domingo. We actually took meals at many different times. The selection was excellent combining local cuisine with traditional dishes. Everything we ordered was well prepared. The service was very attentive and excellent. One of our meseros, Sergio Simón, seemed to be always present and always remembered our preferences. The ambiance... More

Exceptional in every way. My friends and I stumbled upon Santo Domingo by following a corridor from the cobblestone street, past stone basins of water with floating rose petals under a trellised canopy of flora. Tame macaws were perched here and there. This old nunnery features 5 star food at 3 star prices. The setting, service, and food impeccable. My... More

This restaurant has everything you could expect, located in an old convent with specialties that mix local cuisine with the best international dishes. The Chef is one of the best in Guatemala with many prizes under his belt.

We were hot, tired and hungry when we walked into this Hotel/ restaurant. It was an oasis. So quiet, cool and beautiful. The food was excellent as was the service. I could have stayed all day. Take some time to explore the beautiful grounds. We had a guide with us and he told us so much about the place. Very... More

We ended as a reservation for 17 people, at "La Boveda". We ordered diferent types of entrees and was spectacular! I ordered the menu of Sous Vide and tender loin and it was something blowing in my mouth, everything, the details, the room, the desserts... Was simply spectacular!
