What could be better? Sitting on a terrace looking out over the valley and mountains surrounding Antigua, enjoying great food on a Sunday afternoon. We went up in the free shuttle from the Convento de Santo Domingo. The wait for a table was less time than expected. It took a little longer than expected for the food to arrive, but... More

On top of the Santo Domingo hill in the big garden is located an Art Center presenting many sculptures and a few art galeries. We admired the Efrain Racinos colection that proves he is the Picasso of Guatemala" and Cesar Fortuny paintings on Don Quichotte. The restaurant is very good not only because the prompt service and delicious food but... More

Nice restaurant up on the hill overlooking the city of Antigua. There is a nice garden area with sculptures. There is a free shuttle from town up to the restaurant. The food was quite good.

A free shuttle - check with staff - gets you to and from the in-town luxury hotel to a hillside art preserve and restaurant supreme! While you wait for the shuttle stroll the hotel grounds. Up above on the cerro grounds, enjoy the art all throughout the area and the fine food, served at their restaurant, El Tenador, with incomparable... More

Antigua's fantastic restaurant that deserves to be better promoted. I had delicious ravioli with pesto and dried mushrooms. Creative dishes with local flavours at very reasonable prices. The huge site is a cultural centre with with contemporary sculptures and mosaics withing the landscape. The views of Antigua and the volcanoes are fantasticGet a free shuttle from the Santo Domingo hotel... More

Quite simply this is one of the best views you can find around Antigua (see pics). The food is world-class-- especially the pastas! There are also amazing galleries you can visit for free and the setting is world class! The servers are amazing! The iced coffee does have a lot of sugar in it-- FYI.

For only $12 USD/person, we got an all-you-can eat New Year's Day brunch. The food was good to great, the views were wonderful, and the grounds are super relaxing. After brunch we headed over to the playground where our kiddo had a blast playing on the kid-sized zipline.

The food in the restaurant is well priced and very good, all the art all around is fantastic and worth going to see, the view of the volcanos is amassing. the only down side is, if you are unlucky enough to go there when they bring in travelers from a cruise ship, it is not nice to be seated next... The area is beautiful work of art. Many Guatemalan artists have left their mark there. The breakfast at the restaurant is excellent! We have gone many times.
