Konoba varos the tastiest mushroom soup and the most delicious bread and butter I have ever tasted punto esclamativo! In a really cosy, warm, and authentic Croatian setting with lots of timber and fishing nets hanging from the ceiling. And they also play Croatian music it is good to hear! The service was prompt. I would recommend it for a... More

This place used to work more than 100 years ago under name Mate&Jere. The quality level that they maintain on each visit never disappoints and they will probably last another 100 years.

I invited two friends for dinner and asked them to pick the restaurant. It was new to me but they have been steady customers for twenty years. The service was warm and friendly while meeting all of our dining needs. The ambiance is conducive to long discussions over food and drink.

We chose this place following the recommendations of a local partner. Typical local restaurant with tasty comfort food. They have a lovely charcoal grill thar brings flavour to meat, fish a vegetables. Very affordable and prompt service. Good option for dinner. Portions are quite big so if you get side dishes it is best if you are hungry!

We wanted local, Croatian food and that's what we got. We tried the pašticada and it was very delicious. Some of the meat was a little tough but still so delicious. The restaurant was tucked away so a little hard to find and we thought it was closed at first, so do go in! The staff were rushed off their... More

We wanted to try through famous dalmatian food and was recommended by the reception staff at our hotel. We had to order this dish at least 3 hrs prior. The dish is called "Peska". Which is a mixture of lamb and veal with potatoes and carrots. The meal was delicious but a little on the salty side. (We would therfore... More
