I'm croatian from Split. Price for cake is 25 kuna but you can't have a glass of tap water with it which is custom in all Croatia with a cup if coffee or cake. The name of this place now is Choco cafe.

This proved to be a lovely place to stop for a pit stop. The cakes looked amazing but we just wanted a drink, they have a seating area under cover so it was nice to get out of the heat and people watch. The coffees were good and the Heineken beer served in a bottle. We used their toilets which... More

We visitied this place few times one year ago and were very satisfied. This year we were there three days ago (Aug. 23rd.) and were totally disappointed. The cafe opens at 8. We came in at 8:05. The door was open, but we couldn't see anyone. Our children wanted to go to the toilet, so we opened the door to... More

If I only need to rate the displayed tarts and chocolate I would rate this Café with 4 of 5 points. But my rating is a result of all experiences. The benches or sofas are worn and need to get exchanged. Especially because of the white colour you can check this at once. Inside this Café there was only one... More

We wanted to have a light breakfast, so we stopped here to have some sweets. First the waiter sent us away to the restaurant next door. When we realized that he sent us elsewhere, we sat back in his area and waited for him to return. He never came back and we had to find him in the store around... More

Really wonderful quality cakes, just a shame it all feels a bit unloved. Menus were tatty, flowerbeds were full of rubbish and the flowers were dead/dying. The inside has empty display cases... It feels like somewhere someone is putting their heart and soul into top class patisserie and then handing them over to someone who doesn't care. It is such... More

Last week I went with my friend to crème de la crème and it was not really "Crème de la crème". I think they should change their name, because we had to wait for a long time before we could order. People who came later then us, were first helped & served before the waitress was coming to our table.... More

First of all it's not called Creme de la Creme anymore, but Choco & Cafe. Something as obviously changed then and unfortunately not for the best.. we went there for the good reviews but were extremely disappointed: awful service, dirty tables, run out of what we ordered and well over priced. Definitely not going there anymore.

Was very disappointed with the quality of service, the waiter didn't acknowledge our arrival which could be that we took a table rather than waiting to be seated....wasn't very busy so addition of 3 more people would not have gone unnoticed you'd have thought. Nevertheless we finally attracted his attention and asked if we could order drinks and cakes, it... More

Creme de la Creme is a patisserie where you can enjoy exquisite French-inspired desserts, from colorful and delicate macarons to an extensive selection of cakes and tarts. We also offer you other popular international temptations such as cheesecake and tiramisu, but if your tastebuds crave for the traditional, splitska torta (Split Cake) awaits you, made using our grandmothers' recipes with all-natural, local ingredients.

The quality of raw materials comes as first priority and therefore, we are proud that our desserts are made exclusively with butter, eggs, natural sweet cream, quality chocolate, fresh fruits, and locally-sourced nuts. All desserts are hand-made from scratch, and our goal is to provide our guests and customers with sweet satisfactions, as that gives us satisfaction.

Other than desserts we also have a master barista on hand who proudly roasts his very own speciality coffee, promising the freshest blend for Creme de la Creme guests.

Creme de la Creme is tucked into Ilicev prolaz, a passageway just off the Marmontova shopping street. At the end of the passageway, we offer outdoor seating on the charming Morpurgo Square.
