We came to 'the old town' and expected average food to be honest... My wife found a great review in Lonely Planet for 'Oyster & Sushi Bar Bota' and we stumbled across it by chance exploring the city. Unfortunately, we didn't book (we recommend booking)...More

I find the food within the Old Town generally over priced relative to quality, and frankly, there are too many restaurants jostling for customers that it can be overwhelming. I went to Bota for some respite as it's tucked away in a quiet corner, in...More

Bota oyster and sushi bar Hard to believe but one does not run into these in Dubrovnik and with abundance of fish around it seems a bit odd. Wanting to improve on last year's japanese restaueant experience my partner in crime did some research and...More

After experiencing all the delicious local foods for a week plus I had a craving for sushi. Another establishment, outside the walls, was recommended, but the menu was not as intriguing and the setting not as nice. We made a reservation a day in advance...More

Sushi while in Europe? Seemed like a weird choice to us initially. But after days of heavy meats and cheeses, we needed something lighter. We were so pleasantly surprised! This place takes SO much pride in the freshness of it's fish - it's truly incredible!...More

Tucked away near the cathedral we ate here a couple of times, quick and friendly service, oysters from the owner's family oyster farm, excellent tempura prawns and sushi. Worth booking in advance. All under cover and pleasantly cool on a very hot day.

This place has a great story for long long time in Dubrovnik. The most important thing for me was that the all seafood is fresh from Adriatic sea. And tastes great, much better than the other seafood restaurants with the fish from elsewhere. And I...More

I do not remember exactly, but beer prices should be the least of your concerns in croatia, since it is normally cheap across the country..

Description
Dubrovnik's new gem where diners enjoy a beautiful fusion of Dalmatian and Japanese cuisine. A unique place in the Old City to taste fresh oysters grown at the oyster farm in nearby Mali Ston Bay. This bay is the last place where the "Queen of oysters" (Ostrea edulis) still grows. The Oyster & Sushi Bar Bota is located in the charming, small alley by the Cathedral.
