We went here by recommendation. The place offers a version of the Balkans kitchen, which tries to make this unbalanced kitchen more attractive. The result - for our perspective - was mixed. The ingredients might have been ok, but the prices are far too overpriced. Due to the location, I consider it a tourist trap.

Dear guest, thank you for your visit. I'm not sure that we are offering Balkan food, perhaps you have rated the wrong restaurant. Our prices are as anywere else. We are offering real domestic mediteriann traditional food and simple prepared. Best regards More

The single nicest meal I had while in Croatia came from this unassuming konoba that was less busy than some of the others in Dubrovnik. The service was outstanding, we were offered local olive oil/balsamic vinegar and given free local apperatifs to try. The food was incredibly fresh and beautifully cooked!! The mussels buzara here are the best that I... More

Konoba Jezuite, also known as Jezuite, is located in the historic Old Town, at the top of the Baroque steps on a beautiful and tranquil square called Poljana Rudjera Boskovica, It takes its name from a Jesuit Church on the opposite side of the square.. The staff is friendly and fluent in English, the Mussels and Frites we shared were... More

They were running a special 3 course prix fixe lunch for 100 kuna. Started with slices of tomato and mozzarella with a balsamic reduction drizzle and a dollop of pesto. Fresh from the farm and generous portion size. Main was a stuffed boneless chicken breast with a herb cream sauce. It too was delicious. Finally a pannacotta with honey drizzle... More

I came across this restaurant by chance and after visiting the beautiful and interesting church opposite decided to eat here. The staff were friendly and helpful and the atmosphere very relaxing. I chose Chicken alla Dubrovnik which was both delicious and beautifully presented. I also had the house wine which was well chilled. There was a cover charge but for... More

Off the main walk way to the right, a charming little eat in the street restaurant. The service was quick the waiter friendly, and the food lovely. My only problem that I found was if you don't ask for anything the staff do not ask. The food came as per the picture, if I had of been warned of this... More

We were recommended this place by our tour guide during a guided walk through the Old City in Dubrovnik. It was a great choice! Not touristy and in a great spot with a view of one of the church's. Apparently it's really romantic at night with all the lights, but we were there for lunch. The service was fantastic and... More

Just away from the main throng of people at the top of the "Spanish steps " is this restaurant. The waiter/ greeters were lovely, spoke excellent English and gave a very good service. The fish was super fresh and tasty. We didn't want the free aperitif so they kindly swapped it for a glass of wine instead. Price was reasonable... More
