Delicious and affordable food! I can recommend fried squids, tempurą shrimps and especially octopus salad. Restaurant is located in the old town of Dubrovnik.

Fab street food , Kate is so friendly and helpful. We had oysters from the family oyster farm followed by the octopus burger with a black bun (dyed with cuttlefish ink). Lovely casual atmosphere sitting looking over the street. A must try if in Dubrovnik...👍More
Great spot, we had the fried fish (lots of tiny fish), prawns and oysters. Oysters were amazing. We had a seat at the front looking onto the street, was really nice. Staff super friendly too.
We popped into Dubrovnik on a day trip from Split and wanted to try this place after watching Somebody feed Phil on Netflix. Put it this way - we ate at restaurants and spent 150€ and have been left disappointed. This place beat every single...eat we went to on our 8 nights in Croatia. The restaurant is a completely family run business and we spoke to one of the sisters about how they make the octopus burger so good. IT IS INCREDIBLE. The bun is black from cuttlefish ink and it really is amazing. If you aren’t sure about octopus, honestly just try it! It’s so nice we bought another 2 to take back to Split with us because we know we would find it hard to find something as unique and tasty as that. Only 12€ too which is reasonable. Thank you for an enjoyable experience and spending some time talking to us, we would recommend you to all our friends and family who visit!More
Saw Barba on Somebody Please Feed Phil, so we had to have the best grilled Octopus sandwich. Small cozy place, up steps. The sandwich fills the large brown bread. The sweet taste of octopus. Friendly staff.
Popped in here after seeing the reviews ordered the Fried squid and it was plentiful and beautiful fresh. It came with a potato salad (you can swap for fries) which was amazing washed down with a reasonable price glass of white wine. It’s only a...very small place with no outside seating , you come here for the food ! 2 lovely girls serving who were very helpful when I asked questions about the old TownMore
went here on recommendation from a friend, and was absolutely delicious! had the octopus burger, around 12 euros which is a bit steep but was a big portion and really nice. staff were friendly and helpful, and they sell beer which is a bonus. definitely...recommend.More
Really good food, cool vibe and everyone was super friendly. Totally recommend this great little place, not least because it was by far the cheapest place we ate in Dubrovnik but also the best!
Wow wow & wow! A seafood takeaway spot that you want to keep on revisiting. Their Octopus burger is a must, although looks massive the bun is relatively light. After a nice long walk it was all worth it. The place is busy but has...a quick turnaround. The staff are really nice and would help if you’re stuck with choices. Went back the next day for the calamari which was also well worth it. All fresh and delicious… absolutely loved it.More
We bought Octupus Burger Menu, the size of the food is quite big and delicious, also Maya and Kate are very helpful:)
We discovered this place through doing research before our trip and I'm so happy we did as I'm not sure we would have seen it otherwise. We lucked out our first visit as there happened to be no line so we were able to sit...down straight away. We went back on our last day to see the big queue that other reviewers refer to! But top tip: If you're just getting takeaway, you can order straight away at the bar and it comes super quick, you don't have to queue. Our first visit we got an Octopus Burger and the small fish to share (small fish came with a light yummy potato salad)- we ordered both of these based on other reviews and we'd never usually get something like this at home. In comparison to a lot of other prices in Old Town (and even food in London) we thought the price was great and we were happy with the meals. We went back to get takeaway Squid on our last day (which also came with the potato salad) which was sooo yummy and fresh and light. We took it to eat on the harbour with the nice view- I really recommend this. Service both times was fab, they are all incredibly friendly. This place is a must if you're planning to spend a lot of time in Old Town and want to keep costs lower.More
Came for the octopus burger ! It was delicious and worth a wait in line for ! The bread is amazing but the whole combination is perfect ! Loved it and it’s quirky setting !
The Good: The lady waitress is really nice. I liked the small fish dish. The Bad: I ordered the tuna burger but I couldn’t taste the fish. The Ugly: Expensive for the quality of the food.
We recently visited Barba and was excited to try their famous octopus burger. While the service was excellent and friendly and the atmosphere cozy, I must say that the burger itself was below average. Instead of getting a juicy octopus patty, it was a deep-fried...patty that didn't even showcase the octopus. On the plus side, there was plenty of mayonnaise. However, I've had better fish burgers in other parts of Croatia. If you're a fan of deep-fried dishes, then this might be the spot for you. Read the reviews and order the tuna burger.More
In my opinion, the best Ecco friendly and economic restaurant in Dubrovnik. It should be called a fast food place but it isn’t. The best seafood burger in my life. The only problem is a small size - only 4-5 tables. Congratulations for the staff...and owner.More
