Delicious food with the most friendly and helpful staff. Beautifully decorated and great atmosphere. I didn’t have a reservation and they kindly gave me a slot for later that day.

I still cannot understand how a Bosnian restaurant has an Indian name. The meal was excellent. We had a very nice Bosnian wine. The wait staff seemed very proud of the restaurant with good reason.

Really enjoyed our visit to Taj Mahal last week. I’ve never had Bosnian food before so I can’t comment on authenticity or the like, but what I can say is that my food was delicious. I went for a traditional experience in order to try...multiple dishes and they didn’t disappoint. The flavours in the meatballs and stew were deep and warming, the presentation in the metal bowls on the serving board was a great touch. I’m really glad I ordered cheese pie as it was tangy and tasty, and allowed me to dip into the stew juices and get every last bit. I’m not usually a desert person, but the stewed apple was phenomenal. I was surprised at first as I expected it to be warm but the sticky sweetness combined with the crunchy nuts and tart fruit was a winning combination. My partner enjoyed a baklava cheesecake which looked fantastic too! If I was to change anything, I’d sit inside next time. While it lovely to be able to dine outside in warmer weather, I think the inside vibes and decor would have added to the overall experience more and the tables were more spaced out inside. We had brilliant service and I can’t fault it. Our bill here was similar to other places in the city walls and this was one of the few places that felt worth the moneyMore

We had read about this place in a few different guides and were not disappointed. We almost didn't go due to it being a little expensive, but we were so glad that we did, it made the perfect send off meal on our last night...in Dubrovnik. It was so refreshing as 2 vegetarians, to not be an after thought on the menu. This restaurant really does celebrate vegetarian food alongside meat dishes. The waiters were so attentive, they listened to our needs and gave perfect recommendations. The food was top class as was the service. Yes it was expensive, but the whole of Dubrovnik is expensive and it was worth every penny. Local food with an innovative twist.More

Ventured into the old town for a meal and weren’t disappointed as had one of the best while in Dubrovnik. Sat out in the cobbled streets with music playing and a great atmosphere. The food was excellent and different most of local restaurants as traditional...Bosnian cuisine.More

We were blown away by this absolute gem of a place. We had never eaten Bosnian food before, but this restaurant exceeded our expectations to such an extent that we will look out for this cuisine when we return to the UK! The waiting staff...were very friendly, and exceptionally helpful, including amending the bill for an eligible discount from the Dubrovnik pass. They helped us in making our menu choices also. We tried their slow-cooked lamb and slow-cooked chicken dishes, which required two hours' notice. They had the most amazing textures that complemented the meat in the dish, and were rich in flavour. To finish, we ordered Bosnian coffee. Similar to Turkish coffee, it was served in traditional crockery and was unfiltered, for a strong and wholesome flavour. The perfect way to round off dinner!More

1 glass of wine (the cheapest) 9 euro. They made us pay for ketchup and mayo 6 euro ! We had 3 courses. Mezze was a minuscule portion for 20 euro. The traditional one was also small. Then we were still hungry and had the...cevap that was big portion but really really plain..so that we had to order for some condiments…More

The food is very nice but for what it was, very overpriced for something that wasn’t anything that you could have done yourself. We had the share kebab platter. €61 for ten sticks of meat each with three cubes of meat on. It was nothing...special. The meat was lean, I might add and cooked just right. We did ask for bread with the meal and this was delivered to the table halfway through the main course, so a little late. Drinks are top end price wise. It has a Michelin star so you expect it to be expensive. But for the price you also expect it to be better than something you could cook yourself at home, which on this occasion, it wasn’t. Disappointed.More

Outstanding in every way. First class service and attention to detail. We took guidance from the team in which wines and food to order. We were in for a fabulous treat! Booked up straight away for a revisit later in our trip (appeared that we...weren’t the only ones - with one couple saying this was the best food she’d had in years)More

This place is a true gem in Dubrovnik! The staff were not only incredibly friendly but also exceptionally attentive, making us feel right at home. They deserve a gold star for their warmth! And as for the food - the delicious traditional dishes served were...simply outstanding! We highly recommend trying the mix of several dishes from their menu - it allows you to sample a variety of flavors and dishes, which was a real treat for the palate. This place is definitely worth a visit during your time in Dubrovnik!More

We were given this restaurant as a recommendation by our taxi driver. The food here is absolutely delicious! Our waiter was very kind and showed me which options were safe to eat (I have celiac disease) and even brought out gluten free bread. This place...is a head above so many of the others in the old town. A must-try for lunch or dinner when staying in Dubrovnik!More

I did not notice if the meat was halal, but I think it was. Maybe check out if the restaurant has a website and either find out there, or contact them directly.
