Located in the Old Town the Taj Mahal is not easy to find. Wanting to eat authentic local cuisine the Taj Mahal was not top of my list as in the UK the name is indicative of Indian cuisine! Fear not, do not let the name fool you it is very much local cuisine. We had our first meal in... More

The Taj Mahal - don't be fooled by the name- is a Bosnian restaurant, so no pork. Most other meats however are well represented. We shared a platter with turkey, chicken, sausages, cevapi and hamburger patties. Accompanied with mustard and avjay and raw onion, cabbage and baked potatoes. Yum would come back for more

Lovely authentic cozy atmosphere at this old town Dubrovnik restaurant. We've eaten here in previous years and the food quality and service is consistently good. As it's also one of the few restaurants open outside of the season, this is also even more important. A great choice for dinner in Dubrovnik.

We paid KR895 for 5 people for a two course meal with drinks, which was very good value indeed. A welcoming place and good to see that a Bosnian restaurant is back in business in the city that the Bosnians bombed during the war. The food is different for that reason, as it is Bosnian, so if you like something... More

They are to expensive for this tipe of food. You are looking un to the street, with lots of cars and exhaust gases and you eat chevapi for 80 kunas. Never again

Visited this place as a walk up as we had seen a number of positive reviews and have to say we were not disappointed; this was a great place to have dinner. It's very small inside so I imagine booking at busier times of the year is advisable. The Bosnian food was inventive and super tasty; we had a variety... More

Visited during the quiet season and not our first choice but due to availability of restaurants in the old town in February we opted to try the Taj Mahal. Initially we thought it was a curry house but how wrong could we be, we had to wait for a table outside but so worth the wait! The menu offers true... More

After eating Dalmatian food for a week, we wanted something different. We found this Bosnian restaurant in the Old Town. Food--which is similar to Turkish cooking--was fabulous. Soup, grilled meat, shish kebob and stewed apple dessert were very delicious. Marina, our server, was very helpful and patiently explained the menu. Highly recommended.
