They had a nice mood inside with a diner feel and comfortable furniture. The food was fine but they were quite sparse with fries to our burgers. Prices were reasonable. It is air-conditioned.

We had dinner here one evening whilst staying in Mandalay, it had a varied choice of food. Whilst waiting for our order to arrive we were given extra plates (a traditional custom in Myanmar) which were an unexpected surprise. The food was average nothing spectacular...More

Whenever i came to Mandalay, Cafe City is where i always have dinner due to cozy environment and very good food. I prefer pizza, burger as well as steaks. Staffs are average but can't resist good taste. Price is normal range. Should try at-least once.

On our way to the Mandalay Palace, we decided to stop for a coffee. The place was busy, with the majority of the guests having lunch. We understand the Cafe to be popular not only with tourists but also with classy locals. The decoration reminds...More

The cafe is more or less across from the only bridge entrance into the Mandalay Palace. The atmosphere is great and the food is very good at very reasonable prices. The coffee is also a lot better than most places we tried in Mandalay. Definitely...More

A bit of strange resto, with a very meaty European style menu, and only local wines when we were there. For lack of better, 3 of us ordered BBQ items – chicken, fish, beef. All came with a pathetic small tub of watery coleslaw (what...More

A short walk from Red Canal Hotel but take a torch as limited street lighting. A great bistro style restaurant serving a large range if European (Try the Beef steak or fish and chips) and Asian food, main courses K5000 – K7000. A good selection of French and Australian wine starting from K12,500 per bottle. Fun atmosphere with fast friendly service. Busy on the nights we were there with mainly a younger local crowd so get there early for a table.
