Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great spot, we stopped in here 3 times in four nights. Cocktails were the best we’ve had in Asia, the food is great and the staff very friendly.

Good easy food., mixture of Loa, French and Western style food. Nice relaxed vibe with great music. We were sat opp the kitchen. The food was being prepared well and in a good clean environment. Much care was being taken over the presentation too. Can...recommend if you want a reasonably priced meal in Luang Prebang.More

Shared chicken satay, fish cakes, charcoal gyoza and the spring rolls and they were all good. Tasted better than some of them looked! Service at lunch was a little, unobservant. Returned for drinks in the evening, had good vibes and enjoyed some cocktails

A lovely bar / restaurant with excellent food. Also a great place to sit out front and watch what is going on on Sisavangvong Road. Owned by a Frenchman, I, as a New Zealander, went there at 2.15am and watched the French WHIP Ian Foster’s...hapless All Blacks - surrounded by Frenchmen!! 🙄 They were very gracious in victory. Sacre Bleu!! Anyway, go there; it’s nice.More

This is not an ordinary bar/restaurant, - it is by far the best place to hang out in Luang Prabang! Really tasty food - tried practically every dish on the menu during our 8 days stay and loved everyone of them - great music and...chilled ambience and - first and foremost - the BEST service - thank you so much for treating us as royals evening after evening🙌🏻❤️More

We ended up here twice for a drink and something to eat. Great spot near the night market but removed enough so you can relax and enjoy the location and watch the world go by. Interesting and tasty casual food, and also good cocktails etc....The staff were very friendly and helpful. This is a really nice casual place to sit back and relax and enjoy Luang Prabang.More

Drank here most nights before dinner. Amazing views if you walk up to the 2nd floor. Staff are friendly and helpful. Was made to feel very welcome. Drinks are prob not the cheapest but are very good quality. The the cocktails are well made with...generous amounts of alcohol. Beer is good value. Highly recommend.More

We stopped off at Tangor for a beer and it was a lovely place to sit on the verandah watching the world go by. When we passed by later in the evening, there was a lovely, buzzy atmosphere.

Stumbled upon this place and quite and quite happy we did. Smiles all from the dished we ordered. Burgers are great, the fish and chips were a big hint and the Tangor salad -wow-I’d never had a salad before with home made french fries but...I’ll never think it weird ever again !More

You get what you pay for in life generally. The Tangor (sister restaurant to the Popolo) has some superb food on the menu for a slightly higher price than other restaurants but still good value. We went for the nachos followed by the Dim Sum....There’s a buy 2 cocktails and get the 3rd free Happy Hour as well before 6pm. Good street life to watch as well. Recommended for anyone passing through Lurang Prabang.More

We ate here two nights in a row. The food is exceptional. Especially the seared salmon with teriyaki sauce. The butter cookie desert, fine French. The music was wonderful, and the colors of the interior, the materials, textures, all made us feel so happy to...be here. While their are other places nearby that may be good, I am still happy to go straight back here, next time in Luang Prabang. The French owner really understands what it's all about, and that menu - and interior is such a pleasure to sit, and eat and be.More
