The restaurant was recommended by my colleague. breath taking ambiance overlooking the beach. Excellent service from Ms. Rai who assisted us. She offered us varieties of good food which we enjoyed at very reasonable price. Very clean and cosy restaurant.

There are many PODs available, once you get inside you can talk eat quietly while looking at outside view. We have been attended by Ms Samarpita (Sam) , we had enjoyed her service while selecting starters, main courses and drinks. Thank you for that. Food taste was good but felt more pricey.

We went for birthday it was amazing perfectly organized by the beautiful lady named HALA and her staff BISHWA they did a fantastic job for us.
They made sure we had fantastic evening
Food was amazing we had summer sensation five course meal…. which tasted so good..every penny worth
Honestly the best birthday party we enjoyed coz of them
Dubai pod staff are very polite and welcoming

We walked several times by this restaurant which intrigued us by its originality. Unfortunately, our good impressions stop there. It took a while to get us seated, although we had a reservation and it was absolutely not a rush hour (5:30 pm). We asked for a non-spicy source to replace the one meant for the chicken because my son doesn’t eat spicy, but the replacement source was just pure salt. Pad thaï is not bad, but the taste doesn’t match the price, I get a better one during my lunch breaks in Geneva. Our server was good which compensated a bit for food disappointment, however, he had a coordinator working with him who came in to ask if we wanted desert when we just finished the starter. The vintage Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand was the highlight if this dinner, but so it should be when ind glass costs about USD 50.
Basically paid lot’s of money for the setting, the food is absolutely not worth it. Went to SHI restaurant more or less next door the day before, was much tastier and friendlier, here we just felt that people were waiting for us to eat quickly and leave, which we did

Tital AED 1,345 = £336.25
Waitress recommended top priced platter for 2, which was barely enough, though good quality, cost AED 1,155. Cocktail *Try to Remember* was delivered with soya sauce, no explanation, resulted in adding sauce to the cocktail. Wireless music speaker delivered which wouldn't connect to phone, needed replacing. Extremely poor service by waitress. Cannot recommend.

We arrived at The Pods around 7:45pm since we have reservation at 8:00pm. We were told to go back after 10-15 minutes or wait inside the restaurant since our table is not yet ready and needs to be cleaned first. We opted to wait at the beach side since the weather is nice. At 8pm we went back at the reception area to get our table however the supervisor told us to wait another 10-15 mins since he gave our table to a different customer who came after us to dine. It would have been better if he said their not done cleaning yet than telling us he gave the reserved table to someone else. After waiting for about 10 mins we finally got our table/pod. We were told we have control on light, AC and can simply use the buzzer if we need assistance or anything from the assigned attendant. As we were placing our order most of the items we were trying to order was not available so we ended up ordering whatever is available. While we were trying to order soju which is on their menu, we asked the attendant what are the available flavors. He was not familiar with the item and said he will call someone who knows more about these beverages. The guy who came from their bar area does not know the answer as well and was simply saying it is made from rice which is a common knowledge to anyone who orders soju. While we were eating someone came telling us she needs to check if we have reservation and started asking our name. Didn’t they check this before giving us our table? There was no privacy at all while we were eating. Waiters or other attendants not assigned to our table keeps coming in and out of our pod to check if we are done or clear the dishes without even asking us if we are done or if its OK to clear the dishes which is very rude and unethical. The back of house was too noisy that you can hear all shouting and yelling inside their kitchen. Overall experience was the worst. We will never recommend The Pods.

First of all, there were nice and kind people working there and the food was great but the experience being there was completely different.
We ordered as a group of 4 and got the first plate with food and the other plate 20 mins later and 20 min again for the next, would be nice to get it together. One plate was ordered not spicy but it was and after 1.3 hour the unspicy plate came.
The sitting was only 2 hours and after 2 hours when the last person that got the food so late haven’t finished it and they said despite that everything was out of order and late that we couldn’t sit more, we explained the situation and we got to sit 20 more mins. Later the manager came and said that she could fix so the food can be transferred in to the lobby while the person was still eating after all the wait so that they could fill up the table with new costumers after they screwed up.
I don’t know if we got bad luck or what happen but some more serious structure should be needed in that restaurant. The staff was still friendly and nice and service minded but I still wanted to say my part so they can improve for the next guests in the future.

My family booked a pod for my birthday meal, we are a family of 6. The pods are so beautiful inside, we liked the privacy and it was great that we could play our own music. Upon arrival we were welcomed nicely and had to wait a short while for our pod to be ready. Starters were incredible and all came on time, unfortunately after then it all went downhill. Our mains came out at all different times , some dishes didn’t even turn up , my youngest child is 8, her food arrived when we were on desserts and after we complained. When we asked for the manager , she came and explained that another pod had set off the fire alarm and that had caused the kitchen electrics to turn off too, hence the delay in our mains. We found this rather bizarre as we still had electricity in our pod and the surrounding pods too , aswell as the lights outside, everything was normal. The manager apologised and went ahead and told the waitress to order me a birthday dessert on her - my family had already planned to order this for me as a surprise so were annoyed as she’d ruined their efforts. We paid a huge amount of money but unfortunately had a terrible experience. Another disappointment was the steamed glass around the pods! We were looking forward to taking pictures and enjoying the the views around us but unfortunately that didn’t happen. I appreciate its very hot in August but I would’ve thought this was taken into consideration as it is a pod experience being offered . Safe to say we won’t be recommending or returning .

Wow, how do I start picking the words to describe the food I’ve eaten at The Pods,
The black cod and teriyaki Lamb chops to were to die for.
The Pods food was better than Ivy Asia London
The staff and service is what you would expect in Dubai, but with a personal touch. Our son has a Nut allergy and the chief made him some extra special dishes. Which were off the menu. Fantastic taste …… and if you want help picking your dishes, just ask for the head waiter Arnold. His attention to our needs made the night out a true experience. A Must if your in Dubai

We were looking for something a bit different for dinner, so we booked a “Pod”at this unique restaurant on Blue Water Island, Dubai.
We were directed to our individual Pod, which had its own controllable air conditioning and a table that was setup for four people.
The food was quite pricey but every dish we ordered was cooked to perfection, and was absolutely delicious! I would recommend the Chicken Gyoza, Honey Chilli Chicken, Black Cod miso with mushroom rice, Atlantic Sea Bass with garlic rice, and our daughter loved the crab fried rice.
One thing we particularly liked about our experience was that we weren’t bothered by waiters constantly asking if we were okay. The only time our friendly waiter, Jack, entered our Pod was when we summoned him using one of the electronic buttons conveniently placed on the frames of the Pod.
They were quite a few birthdays being celebrated, however, as we were all contained within individual Pods, there wasn’t any evidence of any other parties being disturbed.
All in all, The Pods are a great concept, serving fabulous food. We will definitely revisit!

My wife and I visited on a mid week evening, the pods themselves are nice although cramped, a larger group would be interesting.
Service including the manager were very attentive and I could not fault them, the starter was excellent, unfortunately I could not say the same of the main course, overcooked and tasteless.
we shared a bottle of wine with our meal, total cost was just under 1k AED ($270)
A nice experience, but not value for money.

We visited during the summer, the pods were super hot and the condensation was so bad on the outside that you could not see through the glass. The food was really good and staff did well considering it was difficult to get in and out quickly and efficiently. There was no music but we were offered a speaker which we could connect to our phones, not what you would expect when paying this money..... Would not visit again to be honest.

Unusual, the food was fine, but the ending was an unpleasant surprise. The food itself was priced at 99 dirhams, a set of two dishes from the menu. The waiter asked about drinks, and we ordered sparkling and plain water. Then he brought the bill for 110 dirhams for the water (about 15 dollars)! Moreover, water was not listed on the menu, we were not shown a drinks menu, and the cost of water was not disclosed. It left a bad impression of visiting this establishment; two bottles of water for 30 dollars is excessive, and such a price should have been clearly stated before ordering.

Went for breakfast, it was awful.
We were made to wait 30 mins for the pod when we had a booking.
The pods aircon was broken and dripping onto the table.
The food was horrible, lacked flavour and seasoning. Undercooked also. Plus the salad was rotten.
Waiter didn’t speak English very well and only brought half the drinks we ordered. He then brought the food in and dropped the pancakes off the plate onto the table.
You pay in advance for breakfast I’ve asked for a refund and they’ve not come back to me.

Wonderful, exciting, excellent experience at The Pods Dubai. This was Day 2 of a 10 day exploration of Dubai and it happened to be my birthday. I choose the platinum birthday package which included color coordinated balloons inside of a decorated Pod, a Birthday sign with my name and a particular entrance with sparklers. My meal included the 24kt gold steak and a delicious side of potatoes. The Pods Dubai got our vacation off to an unforgettable start.
