Had a business dinner on the outside terrace - food was between good and very good and service very nice. Terrace is situated so that one can watch the dancing fountains as well as the light show of the Burj Khalifa. Very neat place for both business as well as couples.

I emailed the restaurant from the UK and received a confirmation of booking for a terrace seat overlooking the fountains for 18:00PM. We arrived at 17:50PM and waited in line to be greeted and seated. The restaurant was visibly busy at this time for the obvious reasons and people without reservations were being turned away. My party were apprehensive that... More

Other than in a hotel, this is one of the few restaurants in Dubai that serves alcohol. Consequently, it is extraordinarily busy and given the excellent view of the Dubai Fountains from its Terrace, there's no way you will get an outside table without booking. Abdel Wahab serves good (although not fantastic) food... I would recommend the baby chicken -... More

Lovely place with great ambience & water show every small intervals, set menu is fantastic with loads of variety to try. Visiting Dubai, you must have Abdel Wahab in your itinerary. Lebanese food is quite tasty and staff is quick in response.

This was my first Lebanese experience and it out did my expectations. We were so closed to the Fountains and the food was amazing.

We had a nice meal but the environment is not that special. Lot´s of noise... Good place to go with kids. The location is good, close to the Dubai Mall and to the Dubai fountain

Start initially with bad service. But the manager bassam immediately made up for it with good service. Their rosewater dessert was really good. And food generally was delicious and of course the view.

Staying in Downtown Dubai

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown Dubai
You can’t fail to miss Dubai’s iconic Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building. It towers over the city and resides in the prestigious Downtown development. Once an old army base, Downtown is now the jewel in Dubai’s crown, a beautiful residential and leisure area housing not only the world’s tallest building, but the world’s largest fountains and mall. Wide marble sidewalks are perfect for strolling, with restaurants, art galleries and children’s play areas. Specially commissioned sculptures line the roads and Downtown is often used as a canvas for modern art displays and community events such as Classic Car Shows and National Day parades. In the cooler months, cross one of the many bridges to the Burj Khalifa park and enjoy a picnic alongside residents and visitors, or enjoy a lunch or dinner watch the dancing fountains. Because of its mixed use, Downtown is a fantastic place to mix with Dubai residents and locals and watch real life unfold in a cosmopolitan environment.
