Says it in the title. It's quite dark, a bit bleek, I've rated it poor becasue I know how awesome trader vics can be. The staff are experienced, the management seems to be great but it's just lacking that 'crowd' or any sense of being a 'scene' or destination. It's great if you want a cocktail and you're in the... Out of all the trader vic's branches in Dubai; This one takes the cake. It's modern, clean and spacious. They could brush up a little on the pricing though which is a common issue for this chain. Wednesday nights they have Salsa night and every other night they have live bands.

The Food at Trader Vics is almost exactly the same like in other Trader Vics around the world. The ambience is ok, the service actually needs improvement and good management. Waiting time for drinks and order too long, no smile, incorrect check.

Staying in The Marina

Neighbourhood Profile
The Marina
It’s hard to believe that only a decade ago there was no marina. Opened in 2003, the man-made marina runs along a 3km stretch of shoreline. A heady mix of luxurious hotels, apartment buildings, and cafes, the marina hosts regular community events and markets, and is a wonderful place to while away an afternoon or evening. Spectacular at night when the skyscrapers glisten, here you can enjoy dinner on the beach next to the sea, or visit a high-rise bar in a hotel for a magnificent view across the Gulf and the man-made Palm Island, with the world-famous Atlantis Hotel at its end. The Walk at Jumeirah beach Residences is a pedestrianized stretch leading to a new development: The Beach. It’s one of the few places where Gulf nationals mix with tourists and Western ex-pats. It’s a popular place to show off your supercar for an evening, so watch out for Lamborghinis, Maseratis, and Ferraris in abundance.
