Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The skewers and eggplant meal were great. Though the second meal we got (chicken w/tomato sauce and filet mignon) were just okay. The serving of the meals was a little slow. The ambiance is good with dim lighting, more like a local vibe, prices are...cheap too. The only complaint was there is no designated smoking area so you can't really avoid smelling it.More

Decided to try this place for dinner. We were looking for a blend of traditional food and pub fare which is what the restaurant offered. The location right on the plaza was convenient and the enclosed patio was very pretty. My largest complain was the...amount of smoke in the enclosed patio. It was actually the first time I noticed it in Sucre. It definitely gave the place more of a bar vibe. My wife said her burger was decent. I ordered a silpancho (thin breaded fried beef similar to a milanesa). My dish wasn't bad but certainly not the best one I've had. The meat and dish simply lacked much flavor. My son also ordered popcorn chicken which was average. We also ordered a pitcher of sangria which was made with Fanta... Yeah that just didn't work that well. The one redeeming grace was the super cheap price. All in less than $20. Do I recommend it? Eh, it wasn't horrible but it definitely didn't tickle my culinary taste buds. Like I said, Meh...More

Very good spot right on the main square. A nice patio with dining area and sofas in the back. More like a bar with food than a restaurant per se. The menu has international and Bolivian options. We had pique macho- one plate was plenty...for the two of us. We had great mojitos and a pitcher of nice cold beer. We paid around BOB 140 for 2 mojitos, 1l of beer, a small bottle of water and one pique macho. I would go back.More

This place serves both local and international food. The food is of a better quality than most places at the plaza but for about 70% of the price! (25-35bs on average) The portions are huge (try finishing the chicken milanesa) and the crowd is mainly...rich locals who dress up to eat there (however we just sat in t-shirts and shorts). Don't expect high cuisine or fancy dishes but just good product, decently prepared.More

Me and my partner had a wonderful meal here. Truly delicious. Had cooked beef with egg and rice and chips and exceeded my expectations. Was absolutely delicious. Staff are very very nice if a little clueless but it adds to this great place. thoroughly recommend...to anyone looking for a romantic evening and a tasty meal. Avoid the salads though.More

Dropped into this cafe for a lunch time snack. Service was quick and friendly. We ordered burgers with chips, it was hot, the chips were proper deep fried ones. Prices are low and the interior is pleasant. If you are looking for a quick lunch...stop with good food, call in here.More

Filled with locals and pumping music when I visited. Pretty fast service and good drinks. A little squeezy for seating but there are also seats available upstairs.
