We had the cream of artichoke soup, walleye poboy, carnivore pizza, and I had the coconut icecream. The only disappointment for me was the walleye. I'd been craving it and thinking about ordering it for the past two months. I did not anticipate the sweet vegetable chow chow. Don't get me wrong, it was prepared beautifully and tasted wonderful. I... More

Good lunch served by at the bar by someone who really knew his beers. Sampled all the beers. Liked the Stormy IPA and the Bourbon Barrel Imperial Red a lot. I had a seriously good BLT sandwich ($11.00) and a bowl of cassoulet soup ($5.00). Great food in a good atmosphere.

On a business trip to Ann Arbor MI my colleagues to us to the Jolly Pumpkin. It's a cozy and comfortable place to eat. Decorated in an english pub style with a twist, you'll want to explore the nooks and cranny's and look at the interesting wall art and decorations. The menu will also catch your eye with the interesting... More

Nice place but the tables seemed to be a little closer than most restaurants, at least upstairs where we are. We asked to be moved next to the window and the hostess was very accommodating. The window view was nice to people watch. The food and drinks were good and reasonably priced. I would go back.

Great food and atmosphere! The sourdough pizza was great and the starter that the dough is made from is 100 years old. Enjoyed the dinner.

Janetwhotravels, Thank you for visiting us! I'll let you in on a little secret, the sourdough for the pizza is a lot like having a child, we have to feed it and really take care of it to continue to put out incredible pizzas. Next time you're in, you should definitely try those truffle fries and the truffle pizza! Can't... More

Beer is "the thing" here. If you are a "micro brew" affection-ado super, if not, and I'm not it isn't as good. They brought my wife and brother some "samples" of beer and one had the taste of grapefruit. "Grapefruit beer"... OK!? My sandwich, a Chicken Brie with goat cheese was very good but small. Wife had a sandwich, the... More

We stopped in here after doing some shopping on a Sunday afternoon. The Jolly Pumpkin was recommended by some of the locals working in stores. We got the chicken sandwich with apricot jam an cheese. it was delicious. As were the fries. But the waitress was not the least bit friendly. I assumed she was having a bad day. I... More

Love this place for lunch, dinner or just to stop in and have a beer and an appetizer before dinner. All of the food is something you won't find on other menus. They put their own twist on all of the dishes.
