Quick service dining whereby you order atthe counter and the food is brought to your table. The tables are picnic style and you will definitely be seated with others as the restuarant is always busy. The take is Cuban style but not Cuban per say. It's funky and fun but come with money because it is pricey for what it... More

The menu is built around a variety of "burgers" topped with a layer of fries with a variety of other non-standard toppings. I really enjoyed my beef burger with the mango slaw, but the order of extra fries were a real disappointment--undercooked and cold before they left the kitchen. Seating is barstools at counters and shared picnic tables with bowls... More

Casual dining with a Cubano flair. Order at the counter and be served at long communal tables. Seating is picnic-table style so go at times that aren't very busy if you need to sit near the end of a table for mobility reasons. I've had a knee replaced, and climbing over the benches was kind of iffy for me. Fresh... More

Pricey but authentic food with interesting and good drink options. About 6 large picnic tables and about 15 feet of bar space is the only dining options. The seving sizes are large. A fun change of pace option for some tasty Cuban style burgers.

Definitely casual dining at its finest. The line to order food was very long, but it kept moving at a good clip and we didn't wait too long after sitting down after ordering before our food arrived. We recommend the garlic cilantro fries, Cuban sandwich, twice cooked plantains, and the coconut batisos (real coconut flakes in a milkshake). And the... More

I have been here at least 5 times in the last couple years and it's been great every time. The chorizo burger is so good and flavorful; the pulled pork is delicious too. The fries could be crispier but flavors are great. My husband has only liked it a couple times we've gone but he orders weird stuff like a... More

Went here on a visit with friends, and was delightfully surprised! The cozy, modern, and upbeat interior was energetic, and while the small space was a little crowded, the service was excellent. The food is incredibly tasty, with Cuban style burgers and milkshakes for a moderate price. We were warned ahead of time there may be a line, but the... More

We visited Ann Arbor for a wedding and had gotten some food recommendations from another friend who had lived in Ann Arbor the past 3 years - Frita Batidos was one of her recommendations for delicious and unique food - and we loved it! The meats were seasoned really well and sauces complimented the flavors nicely in the fritas. Batidos... More

May daughter and I went here at 3 in the afternoon when I dropped her off before the semester started. Miraculously, there was no line. The hardest part about Frita Batidos is that so many things looked good that I wanted everything on the menu! I opted for the burger with the fixings and an egg on top---so decadent but... More

One of the best restaurants in Ann Arbor. Food is great and healthy too! Too bad it's not bigger cause it does get crowded in the peak hours. However staff is quick and you don't wait for anything too long
