Zingerman's Deli is incredible, with some of the friendliest staff you will encounter anywhere, and a plentiful supply of delicious food. If you have the opportunity to experience this place, you certainly should!

I shared a mostly wonderful breakfast with my daughter while visiting u of MI. The staff was amazingly welcoming and friendly. One of the best in fact I've ever encountered. I ordered a breakfast that consisted of 4 strips of bacon, 2 eggs, and toast. $10.95. Some would say rather steep in price. The bacon was perfect, eggs just OK.... More

Zingerman's is a must-visit place for anyone coming to Ann Arbor. While the lines and prices may intimidate some customers there's a reason why this place is always rated one of the best delis in America. Consistent quality with friendly service. And while waiting in line you get to try specialty foods from across the world. First time visitors should... More

Bring cash as this place is expensive. The food is high quality and demands high prices. Lots to choose from. Deli fare is the best. Great desserts too. They have small grocery with excellent choices. Be prepared to wait during prime time.

The person waiting on me knew I was not a regular customer, and was rather rude, and rushed my order. The bread ehhh soggy and bland. The actual sandwich was nothing special. it filled a basic need. I do have to say that the area... More

One sandwich goes a long way -- so don't be scared by the price since you can easily share one between two people, and the pickles are so good we sometimes go there just to purchase a bag of pickles.

Zingerman's Deli has, as one of the basic pillars of doing business, great customer service. This shows up as humans to interact with, rather than dead-brained, underappreciated, wage slaves. These folks get benefits, have their ideas valued and used, and treat customers as if they're happy to help rather than merely acting out a similar role. Combine this with great... More
