No matter what I all ways find my way back to this place. The beer selection is the best and one of the original purveyors of such a great selection. Get waffles fries and enjoy yourself.

The vibe was bad on this particular day, but it was understandable. However, our waiter definitely could have acted as if he was happier to have us there. One thing I haven't been pleased with here, is the mixed drinks. They're pricey but weak! The burgers are excellent, but the fries aren't so good.

I'm sorry to hear that your service wasn't up to our usual standards. Nothing is more important to us than making our guests feel like part of the family, and I apologize if we fell short on your most recent visit. I'm confident that you'll be as impressed with our bar drinks and fries as you are with our burgers... More

Though it is across street from campus it is the 25 -89 crowd! Professionals affiliated with the University of Michigan Hospital and University faculty hang out here! Food is tasty, beer is great but the ambiance feels like a warm hug!

Ashley's has improved greatly since my last visit in 2011. A pre-game breakfast menu was made available and did not disappoint. Neither did the service or the beers. The bathrooms have been remodeled and don't have that "I need to wash my hands before I go" feel. Bright and clean was my take away. Someone has turned Ashley's around since... More

Thanks for coming back in and giving us another try all these years later -- glad to hear the breakfast menu didn't disappoint. Stopped in Ashley's before a Michigan football game and it was awesome. The atmosphere was great. My advice is to get there early because the place fills up fast. They have one of the best beer selections I've ever seen. Tons of beers on tap, which is always a huge plus. I had a burger and fries and the food... More

Thanks so much for watching the game with us! We do tend to fill up pretty quickly on game day, and I hope you had a great spot to enjoy your beer and burger. Glad you found plenty to love on our tap wall, and we're looking forward to having you back for a bite and a pint again soon.... More

We went for beer only but heard great things about the food from others. The place was very busy and very noisy, and had great beer selection. Everything we could ask for. They have beer from everywhere but we stayed with the Mi. beers and LOVED THEM. We had a great time.

This is my first time to Ashley's, my wife was inspired to revisit as she went here often when she attended UofM. They offer a good selection of beers from around the world, Samuel Smiths Nut Brown Ale from Tadcaster, UK, and Grolsch from Holland are two of my favourites and I'm so glad a MI pub actually has these,... If you are going to Ashley's you should appreciate some great beer selection. It has so many beers on tap and in bottle. It is sort of odd to find such a great beer spot in the college area. The service is nice, it can be busy so you should look to get served as quickly as they can. The... More

Ashley's has really changed much since the first time I went there in 1999 and that isn't a bad thing. They have a fantastic rotating draught selection of craft beers (with a focus on Michigan breweries). Their scotch selection is impressive (according to my husband). The Stilton Fries! I don't know why melting Stilton cheese onto waffle fries is so... More

We visited Ashley's recently as we took some friends of ours to AA for the first time. We chose Ashley's for two reasons; great beer selection and reliable food. And it's tough to mess up beer! But you can mess up food. One of our diners was gluten free. She ordered something that came on a flour tortilla and asked... More

I'm really glad you can always count on us for a great beer, but I'm sorry to hear the service and burger this time around were disappointing. With our rotating taps, Ashley's Ann Arbor will have over 1000 different beers throughout the year. Such a huge selection like that means we're bound to have all of your favorites, plus some that will become your new favorites. And for the whiskey lover, Ashley's is your place. We have a huge selection of small batch Bourbons and Scotch single malts from which to choose. Today Ashley's is known as a leader in the craft beer movement and has partnerships with many great breweries to bring their best to Michigan and Ann Arbor. We have traversed the continents to bring you a world class selection of beer and ale, from the hoppy British bitters to the dark lagers of South Germany, from the classic Pilsners of Bohemia to the arcane fruit beers of Flanders, from the craft micro-brew beers of the US Pacific northwest to the finest Michigan micro-brews. At Ashley's, there is always something new to try and explore. In addition to our wide selection of beers, we have a diverse menu of food that is made to order from the freshest ingredients around. Some of our most popular items include our pesto fries and our fish and chips. Our kitchen is open late seven days a week and our chef's create unique items that always go well with beer, like our Stilton fries and our premium burgers are made with Certified Angus Prime Beef and are crafted into mouthwatering combinations. Creative sandwiches on our house made spent grain bread are very popular. Our tradition has been to celebrate the simple pleasures of life... Good food - Good drink - Good friends!
