We were staying near Albert Lea and saw this family restaurant, so decided to stop for dinner with our friends. While the restaurant was not crowded, the service was really s-l-o-w. The food was worse. Friday night fish fry resulted in under-cooked fish with a...More

This is a nice family restaursnt. The menu has sppetizers, salads, entrees, sandwiches---something for everyone's taste. The food was good and waitstaff friendly and efficient. I'd highly recommend this restaurant .

We walked in, and it felt like a Perkins, but in a good way. The waitress was a mind reader. We ordered a cinnamon roll as an appetizer, because the rolls were GIGANTIC! For the meal, I had the Apple Fritter French Toast, and it...More

We were pleasantly surprised with this place. The food was very good and bigger portions than you could eat. Very moderately priced. Our waitress was wonderful

We stopped at Trumbles on our way to St. Paul, Minnesota. It's a family diner a little off the interstate. Our waitress, Elsie was very friendly. I had the soup and pie special. I would not recommend the potato au gratin soup. It was basically...More

We didn't see many non-fast food options from the interstate to downtown on a Sunday afternoon. Trumbles was a nice sit down restaurant. They have the normal fare of burgers, sandwiches, soup, breakfast. Meals were large. My wife and I split one of their lunch...More

Ordered the CRISPY hash brown omelet with ham and mushrooms. Yikes- a far cry from crispy. Almost raw and cold. A lot of soggy hash browns and about a tablespoon of diced ham and about 5 slices of canned mushrooms. The pancake was ok. Nothing...More

We have stopped here for many years as our breakfast spot on the way to Minneapolis. Although it is always good, this time the hash browns were sub par and the price for a classic breakfast was "getting up there"! Kassi was absolutely the sweetest...More

Nice family restaurant, stopover on way from Minneapolis to Texas. Food very good, no sweet tea, had to add sugar to tea. Pie's very good. Wait staff very friendly and helpful. Price's average.

We were invited to go with friends for breakfast after church and they suggested Trumbles. Service was okay but not great. The same can be said for the food. Overall not a bad experience but also not a great experience.

Oh definitely no change in the recipe. It's still the same. It's the best part of our pies! If you have any other questions or concerns please feel free to call me. 507-373-2638 just ask for Dinah.
