We've been coming to Sandy Point for almost 30 years and although it recently changed hands, the food was as abundant and delicious as always. The New England clam chowder is a sure winner and we loved the steamers and fried clams.

We've been going here for years, and went again this week, although we were a bit nervous based on recent reviews. Our waitress was a delight, and the food was good. Very similar to food from past years - we had chowder, scallops in bacon,...More

Went there for the first time since the new owners took over.. King Baked Stuff Lobster, well worth the ride from Mass. Plenty of extra lobster and moist stuffing. The Clam Chowder good and HOT, not luke warm like in other restaurants. The add on...More

We have been longtime fans and regulars of Sandy Point. Like everyone, we were crossing our fingers when the ownership change occurred. Our worst fears were realized after two visits with the new owners--skimpy king lobster with burnt crumbs, sorely lacking and changed clam chowder,...More
