Sugar Palm is very average. Food was not especially great, service was very, very, very slow. Ambiance is quite nice, however. We wouldn’t go back but it wasn’t terrible.

To sad to see how little is cared about the food. Service is friendly but almost nonexistent. Prices are ok, nothing high. Seatings are nice, but honestly would avoid and try to find authentic places

Let's start by saying that the food was delicious and very fresh. We had Pomelo salad, chicken satay, shrimp amok and another dish which I can't remember the name. All were delicious, especially the amok which had a consistency like a suffle. Service was good and quick. Now the only downside is that the portions size and the prices were... More

Firstly it is essential to book. The restaurant is quite small up a flight of stairs so easy to miss off the main road. Several people did have to be turned away while we were eating because the restaurant was packed with people sat at the bar waiting to be seated. But it is worth it if you stick around.... More

You almost feel like you're in a tree house here. Second floor, outdoors, one block off the Main Street, which is good for noise level. Food was absolutely delicious. Definitely a 'nicer' restaurant for siem Reap, but we'll work the $8-$10 usd you'll spend. Highly recommend.

I visited the Sugar Palm on a recommendation from the desk clerk at my hotel. It was a short walk from there. The restaurant is in an old house with a charming atmosphere. I chose a simple Khmer fish stew with sticky rice for my meal. It was a heavy portion and filling. House wine was excellent and service was... More

Taken there by tour guide for a set menu. The food was good and plentiful but lacked real flair. The drinks list was reasonable. Its up quite a steep stairway.

The food was really nice. I had read reviews which made me hesitant to go to this restaurant. However, based on some good ones I decided to give it a go. The atmosphere in the restaurant was not a happy one. The staff seemed unhappy. Not sure what the problems are but I would not go back as there are... More

We walked in without a reservation and were lucky enough to get a seat. Service and food was very good. I can highly recommend this place.

We booked the Sugar Palm for our final night in Cambodia on the back on online recommendations for the fish amok and the Kymer cuisine. However we were really disappointed. The waitress was grumpy and never smiled over, we had to wait for over 50 minutes for our food (there was two of us and the restaurant wasn't overly busy)... More
