Our Italian friends had recommended this place to us as one of the best Italian joints in Asia and it lived up to its reputation. The freshness of all ingredients gives this its authenticity. We thought it was well worth the price. We paid usd 60 for a beer, 2 dishes and desserts. Will definitely return

We were craving something western and Il Forno's pizza hit the spot. My son reckoned it was the nicest spaghetti carbonara he'd ever had!!! Great service and good value for money.

Saw this place when we went to the Tapas bar next door, the previous evening. Good, typical pizza and pasta restaurant, fancier than the places on Pub Street. Chalkboard with daily specials. We just went in at lunchtime to share a 4 cheese pizza prosecco and a beer. Friendly, quick and decent food

Liked their meat and cheese platter. The cured meats were just right with not a hint of unpalatable ageing. The Pecorino had the fullness of taste. Their reds (tuscans) are fresh by the glass. Lungo (to round it off) was on the better side. They skimped a faint bit on salad (however that's me and I hate fluffy greens only).... More

Really great food and service. It was so refreshing to have some decent Italian food after travelling around in Asia for a few weeks. If you need a break from noodles/rice, and fancy some good Italian food, this is where you need to go. The antipasto starter is sublime, particularly the prosciutto, parmigiana and aubergine mousse. The walnuts, Gorgonzola and... More

When you tire of rice and noodles, and you most likely will, il forno is the place to go. In an alley off Pub Street it is tucked away but found by many. The gnocchi was amazing. Best non Asian meal I had in Siem Reap. I will definitely go back next time I am in SR.

We created Il Forno in 2011 after many years dreaming of opening a traditional Italian Restaurant outside Italy where we would serve authentic Italian food like our grandmothers used to cook. The only addition to our grandmother's kitchen was the building of an original stone brick fire wood oven from where to make pizzas according to the southern italian tradition. We pride to import every single ingredient ( veggie & fruits aside)on our menu directly from Italy and to make all our food home made and fresh daily. Our fantastic team of chefs/cooks start their day very early to prepare our pizza dough that need 10/12 hours before its naturally risen and to prepare home made tagliatelle, tortellini , gnocchi and so on , exactly like we used to in Italy half a century ago.
