I don't know how this has ever gotten a good review. Service is appalling, only half a dozen people in and it took 40 minutes for food to arrive. The over priced menu is very limited as is the drinks stock. I wont be back here.

We came here during a rainy day and the place is perfect. Good coffee coupled with some hearty home made biscuits that was introduced by the staff. Great space to just chill and chit chat with your friends.

Went to the bookworm with two friends to have burgers and wine, since we heard positive feedback here, and it was a terrible experience. We ordered quesadilla, two burgers with blue cheese and one cheeseburger. Quesadilla was served 30 minutes after, cold and not tasty... cheeseburger tasted horrible to the level that my friend was wondering whether it's some questionable... More

We were looking for some Western food and saw this place on TripAdvisor. Good deal on beer and a decent margarita pizza. Hit the spot! We'll come back.

Right on the corner of an alleyway with a few bars. The outdoor seating is idea in the summer and they've got a few good beers on tap.

This is a nice place to go if you want to take some time out and sit back in relaxed surroundings. The interior is simple and comfortable, and having books all around the walls is a really nice touch. Live music on Fridays nights is good, but if you want to spend time talking to your friends, you might find... More

it is an ok bar, but not really that much in terms of food. I have only tried the old menu. IT does do many interesting events but no one would go there for the food.

Stopped in while in Suzhou and we ordered a couple burgers from the western style menu. Had to send them back as they were raw inside. But they quickly took them back and tried again. Wait staff were very nice and English books line the walls as a lending library for patrons. Very quiet afternoon when we visited but apparently... More
